Sylvia L.: The product does what is advertised - that is, it definitely stabilizes your foot and ankle. I do however wonder how anyone with larger sized feet and ankles can find this bearable for any length of time. I bought the XL size for my husband, who wears a size 13 or 14 shoe but whose legs are slim and athletic (i.e. not heavy at all). The "sleeve" part of the brace is just way too tight. (I tried the brace on too, just to see how it would feel on my somewhat smaller foot, women's size 9.5.) It immediately feels like your circulation is getting cut off and your foot becoming numb - especially at the top (similar to how some socks are too tight at the top edge and leave a "ring" imprint around your leg). This might not bother some people, esp. if you really need the stability of a very tight brace, and maybe it would be ok for short periods, but it was really uncomfortably constricting for us, even though the size is marked "XL." The accompanying adjustable velcro bands are very useful though, simply because they CAN be adjusted to your particular foot and your desired degree of compression. I am tempted to keep the product just for the bands (which I guess could be used over socks)...

Jacob Czebotar Sr.: Had to get for swelling in the feet and acnle. size work well it was xl that I got. being a big guy and the amount of swelling. I wore it for quite a while but had to take it off due to it starting to burn. I don't know if that was from the unit or just the anacle. the support straps are harder to put on than you think you defiantly do not want to get it on the sock. it is a pain in the Kester to get it unattached from it and it just tears it up. and you need to be careful on tightness and having it line up. just right. it appears to be simple but there is a little more to it. but if you need something like it you can't go wrong with this product. it is durable and comfy well for the few days that I wore it in a row. I am going to hand wash them vs machine washing. the only thing that I had a problem with was that I order two sets and only received one. and don't know when the second one will show up or if it will have not called amazon yet about it. I figure I give it a few days.

Still haven't receive my second pair tough I know I was charge for it.
and now that I have had the unit for a while it did not hold up very well the tightness or compression that it...
