Barbara: Quit trying to find well fitting socks at Walmart and try these! I’ve bought many different brands and they are tight on my legs. Gold Toe are SO stretchy, they go up to your calf, there’s room in the foot, they wash well, and they’re VERY Comfortable! Worth every penny!!

Stevie: Always my husbands favorite go-to socks! Thick but not cumbersome and comfortable. He wears them every day under his work boots. Gives him enough "padding" for comfort but not too much to be too hot. He always asks for these.

Have purchased them several times over the years for my husband and son, both of which have big feet and are really hard on socks. Most durable and long lasting socks I’ve ever found. Shirley D: Normally he would wear a regular size sock. His shoe size is 9.
He is 93 and his ankles are very swollen. His legs get cold too.
Buying the x-large socks was perfect. Room for his ankles and not too tight on his legs.
(He will not wear the diabetic socks because they feel too tight, and he is not a diabetic)
At 93, he gets to choose what he wants. He earned it. His mind is still very sharp!

Darien: These are decent average quality socks, not super high end, but not low end either, and they last a few years. Would recommend them over more expensive socks, I’m fairly particular about my socks and these are a good average quality for cheap.

jwcave: I have been wearing Gold Toe socks for 20 years or so, great socks, but it does seem like the price is going up, and the quality is slightly going down. the Gray socks seem to last longer than the white.

Mr. Adrian Williamson: I first bought a pair of Gold Toe socks at Macy's on a trip to New York back in 1999! At the time I remember thinking they were the most comfortable things I'd ever put on my feet. Every time I've been back to the US, I've bought some more and have generally been more than happy with them. The last time I went back in 2019 they seemed to be a little different, and I wasn't as impressed. I've tried various socks from Amazon since then but never found a good replacement, so when I saw I could get some Gold Toe ones at a reasonable price, I thought I'd try them again. These look like they are back on form, so perhaps I was just unlucky with a batch the previous time. I think Gold Toe might just be the Carlsberg of socks!
