Will Ambiance: The Dartboard looks gorgeous, is very sturdy and strong Vs the Viper 800 I had and way way heavier, which I'd say is good points towards made better I think. Time will tell but I've had zero issues except for two very annoying cons but nonetheless they wouldn't stop me from buying this as it really is one of the best boards available.

So yeah, rest assured all is holding up with heavy daily many hours of play, buttons and screen and sound. The lower reviews and board rating really worried me but I feel confident to say, you should be fine and once in the past when I needed to replace a Viper 800 board through GLD, they sent one out without any frustrations, and Amazon returns are typically a breeze... Therefore you may get a dud, it happens, so I'm here to tell you, feel free to replace if needed and expect it can be possible but if you get a good board as I have as many others have too, you'll be great!

If there's any big issues or replacements etc that show up, I will edit this review and possibly adjust rating.

QueenN: Had it up for a few weeks and it's great. Whole family and our friends are loving it. Only two things would I change and neither of those would stop me from purchasing again. 1. I would put the power so that you had the option to plug it in right behind the board. Or at the very least have the power cord coming out of the bottom middle. Right now it is on the lower right (when facing the board). Our outlet happens to be to the left of the board, so you really see the cord. I would put an outlet by the board, but because the power comes out of the side, not the back, you would always see the cord. The net result - the board never looks like the picture (without a power cord showing) unless you've unplugged it. 2. I would remove the extra tips drawer from the bottom middle (it's where the word "viper" is). When darts hit the board, the vibrations opens the drawer. Nothing falls out, but I am constantly shutting the drawer.

Logan Burt: Great dart board! So far, there have been no instances where the board has failed to register and score a hit. The darts land solidly on the board with almost no bounce-outs.

One thing to watch out for with this board, though. With the large display at the top, the top of the housing extends about 9 inches above the top of the playing surface and almost 17 inches above the center of the bullseye. Add the 68 inches from the floor to the center of the bullseye, and this could be a problem if the ceiling is very low, such as in a basement. If this is your situation, you will need to select another model of dart board.

S. Loker: We've had this for a month and really like it. Our biggest issue is that there can be a LOT of bounce-offs. Sometimes 2 of 3 of the darts bounce off. We had to put a cushy rug down because the darts were bouncing off so much and crashing to the ground that the flights were getting ruined quickly. Maybe it's the way we throw them, because sometimes we'll get no bounce-offs at all. A couple of times, the dart has stuck into the board, but the board did not register the score, so we've had to walk up to the board and press the section in to make sure to get the points. Otherwise, 99% of the time there are no glitches, and we have a lot of fun with this.

Sergio: Nice quality of board.
Suprisingly no bounce back as I intented.
a lot of game variations to play with.
Darts that come with it are ok (playable, enjoyalble too). but you'll better have your own prefered ones.

Nice to have a sound level and off option.

Arizona Sportsman: I previously owned a Solar Blast (older model) - that was damaged in a move, so I replaced it with another Solar Blast.

Yes, it is all plastic, but it is well made, the dart tip holes hold up well - the game is stocked with tons of variations of dart games (301, cricket, baseball, hi score, everything you could want and more). The scoring is incredibly accurate - our family plays on this for hours at a time.

I must admit I preferred the older model that was red, white and green. This one initially looks more attractive, but only having red, gray and black makes it a little more difficult to see where your dart tip has struck the board (from a distance).

I was in a dart league for a while and played a variety of home game room dart boards and hands down the Viper Solar Blast is the best.
