Prd2bbsnPrd2bbsn: I really like this mailbox. It is the right size and I’m happy with the color and design. I’ll see whether it stays rust free. I decided against using the lock for now. Only negative is it comes without the screws and also no flag. The lack of screws was no problem because I mounted it using zip ties. I’m waiting for the flag I ordered.

Lisa: This is a great value for the price. It's very sturdy, looks just as the photos shows, operates perfectly, installs easily. It's win win! I read the bad reviews here and was a bit nervous but, I have experienced none of the concerns I read. The "Mail" label stays on, the lid keeps rain out, and it looks very stylish. It's also big enough to handle catalogues with the lid closed. I am an interior designer and I am pretty fussy with how things look, and it definitively passed the test for me.

Kenny RN: This mailbox looks great mounted on the brick of our home. The mailbox does come with two keys and the ability to have the mail schute locked or unlocked for the mailman. The "MAIL" emblem does not look too promising when first opening the package because it appears flimsy and weak with the adhesive peel-and-stick backers, but after having this mailbox mounted outside for two months now, I can attest that the emblem has held very well and no one has noticed that the emblem is just a peel-and-stick emblem. You do of course have the choice of whether or not you want to even add the "MAIL" emblem to your mailbox, but my wife and I think it gives the mailbox a little extra elegant style. We also tend to leave our mailbox unlocked when we are expecting smaller packages because the mailbox is quite spacious, but if the mail schute is locked, only letters/envelopes can be placed in there which forces our mailman to leave our smaller packages on the front porch. The mailbox itself is not overly large, but it is appropriately larger sized in my opinion to allow for a couple small packages to fit inside or even a large envelope to fit inside. Jon: The package includes the mailbox, the lock, keys, and the "Mail" emblem.

The packaging (display box) has instructions on it for how to install the supplied lock to your "secondary" lid. It's quick simple to install the lock. You can see in the photos that the mailbox contains a lighter bronze lid. What you can't see is that underneath that lid is another lid that has the lock and a slit to insert your mail into. If you don't have it locked (we don't keep ours locked), the mail man can just open both lids at the same time if they want and dump your mail into the mailbox that way. Or they can just lift the top lid and insert your mail through the slit. Either way works.

The "Mail" emblem will need to be applied if you want. Some may just leave it off if they prefer. The emblem comes with four 3M sticky pads that you'll peel and then just stick the emblem to the mailbox face. The packaging (display box) has a "template" to try and help you align it if you need. You can just eyeball it and you'll be fine.

There are no mounting screws included with the mailbox. You'll have to look at the mailbox holes and decide what size screws you'll need. There are 3 attachment...
