Bugs187: Well made, with a beautiful black finish. It was a fairly easy to install, it comes with a cutout that can be used for ensuring the drilled holes are the right measurement.

bareyb: Not at all what I expected from the reviews. This thing is about as cheaply made as it gets. The black was more of a cocoa color so they may have sent me the wrong one. It’s very flimsy. They shipped it in a plastic bag and it was pretty warped. Mainly I hated the paint job. Kind of a weird “crinkle finish”.

Do yourselves a favor. There’s an Aluminum one for a few bucks more that looks very similar but is way nicer. Get that one. It’ll save you the hassle of returning this one.

AshleyReviews: I have this now for a couple months. It was very easy to install onto my stucco home. It seems durable and weather resistant to make it through a Midwest winter. It is kind of loud, but my mailman is kind of aggressive. 😂 I think I may put some of those little felt circles in there, but would definitely buy again.

James L.: I had a much larger mailbox that was fine except that it looked out of proportion to the location it was in. I get a lot of paper mail, so I still wanted a box that would be big enough. I have found that this mail box is a good compromise between the very largest and the small ones that can't really accommodate very much mail or small packages. The black finish is a high quality glossy finish that has just a slight bit of dimpling that makes it more appealing than a flat finish. The downward angle of the lid is great for shedding rain and snow. It is easy to open and close. The clam shell center lid extension/handle adds a tough of elegance. Good size, great finish, and great looks.

Mr. Purchase: My last mailbox could be opened by pulling a brass hoop that allowed side entry. Wish this one had it.
This is an attractive,well made box.

T. McCall: We did not use the paper carrier at the bottom as we consider them ugly.
It has a nice pebbled powdered coated finish, and to us a perfect size re depth and length -- we do not like the new vertical sized ones as with a large paper, the lid is held open to the elements. It is as advertised, a $70.00 mailbox. We did not want to go to the expense of a cast one.
