No issues with the lock or installation. The door lock will limit interior space, so be aware of that. If you absolutely had to, you could likely take a pry-bar or grinder to this and get inside, but it's going to take some effort. This makes it a good value for the money, IMO.

J.Brown: The safe is great for the average joe , wanting to keep safe some watches ,coins, passports or cash 💸 , it's probably not fire rated but easy to install and better then a lock box , definitely recommend, easy safe way to keep things also out of the hands of lil ones or teens

Miguel Grippa: I just received the safe and opened and close the door a few times with both locking mechanism and no problem, but it will take some time before been able to evaluate the quality.
The installation was easy to do, but I have to add up a piece of wood to one of the 2x4 to reduce the space to the size of the safe. Not a big deal. Once the safe is attached to the studs, I don't think it will easy to remove it or break in the safe, unless you have tools and plenty of time.
My only complaint is the numerical pad. It is made of a very cheap rubber material. And the screw which hold the pad that cover the key hole is damaged and very difficult to remove. I don't know if it is a manufacturer defect or the safe is a returned item from another customer who did the damage. I believe the screw is a metric size and will not be very easy to replace. And I can't find the manufacturer information to request a replacement.

Daniel: We've a another "between the studs" wall safe for 25 years. This is not Fort Knox. If a burglar doesn't mind making noise they can just cut out the section of the wall with a saws-all and take the whole thing. Don't keep the Hope Diamond in it. But it's great safe storage to keep your good jewelry, some cash, maybe even a handgun away from trades people, cleaners, and other visitors. Install between standard 16" on center wood or metal studs. Has a battery powered keypad lock you can easily program. Battery access is inside the safe, so if the battery fails you must use a back up key to open the safe. Keep this key somewhere safe that you will remember.

NEPATRIOTFAN: Rec'd this wall safe and had it mounted within an hour. It is very durable and heavy (approx. 35-37 lbs. The door and front facial is of a thick metal. The only thing I have to say needs to be beefed up is the plastic keypad and bolt release knob. It's abit cheap or should I say lightweight in appearance but it does operate easily. Note: that you should determine the location of this safe and check to insure that you do not have an electrical lines/water pipes/AC lines within or between the wall studs. This unit depth takes up the entire width of a wall stud...no room to have utilities running behind or to the sides of the wall safe.
Will definitely consider buying from this vendor again.

alexalex: I took a chance knowing that this item didn't have very many reviews or had very little info on them, I am so glad I did. First I have to say that at the price point, try not to expect a Ferrari, your getting a wall mounted safe thats easy to install, easy to hide and is reliable and that is what you get.

lets start with the worst part I could find and that's the electronic keypad, it feels a little cheap but after quite a bit of testing it works perfect and regardless on how it feels I have to rate it by functionality and not by the feel. The override key is simple to use and with a little creativity such as a graphic patch, you can turn the empty space next to the keypad into something more visually appealing. I am guessing the blank section was meant for a logo of some sort so make it your own. as far as the looks, lets face the fact that this is a wall safe meant to be concealed and not shown as an art piece.

The operation and reset instructions are straight forward and with the included instructions I had it up and running in no time. besides the cheap feel of the front panel, it operates fine and I have no complaints.
