Giantex 2-in-1 Portable Washer & Spin Cycle Combo - Perfect for Small Spaces!

Livinlifewithcharlie: Truly, this Giantex Portable Washer, has to be the best investment I've made this year. My financial circumstances this year deteriorated and I was in a phase where I had to cut corners to stretch my dollar and this included trying to stay home more to use less gas on my car and identifying where I can save money. For several months I was visiting my local laundry mat while attempting to find a solution to cut back on the cost of washing clothes and eventually, this washer came my way and in mid-October, I bought my portable washer.
Along with the portable washer, I purchased a rack with wheels and placed two beach towels on the rack before mounting the washer. I also used pool noodles and zip-tied them on the rods of the rack to ensure the washer was centered and to minimize the vibration noise. I even purchased a drying rack from Walmart to complete my at home laundry mat.

Racheal: I had seen some videos about portable washers previously but didn't know much about them. I read so many reviews before deciding to try one out and I wanted to use mine for a few months before leaving a review in the hopes that it helps someone else.

I live in an apartment with coin laundry and was getting tired of paying to use a washer that I have never seen property management clean, waiting when my neighbours forgot their laundry in the machines overnight, going to the bank to get coins, and lugging laundry in and out of my apartment. I was skeptical about a portable washer at first because it's more interactive than a typical washer where you throw clothes in, take them out. Regardless, I love this washer. I do have the luxury of working from home a couple days a week. I put the washer in the bathroom beside my home office so I like to do my laundry on my work from home days.

Kayla Elizabeth: Used exclusively at our trailer, it worked amazing. I could lift it in and out myself without any issues. The hoses are a bit stiff but as long as you can leave level and drain beneath the machine (into tub drain or off the deck) it’s perfect.
The filter clip doesn’t actually filter anything but I suppose you could put a cloth in to catch any debris but we just rinsed well and it worked well.

Charlie Irving: We had a Danby washer spin dryer for years and it worked fine . We had to finally replace it and could not find a washer spin dryer in any store . Thankfully we found this unit on your web site. So far so good. It is a lot lighter than our old unit but seems to perform just as well. Glad we found it.

Janice Osmond: Couldn’t wait to get this and try it. Did not disappoint at all. Great for small spaces. The washer can hold a generous amount of clothes. I washed a full set of double sheets along with the pillow cases with no issues. This machine is also quiet.

Kindle Customer: This thing does look like a toy straight out of the box. And the instruction manual isn't all that helpful - aside from the terrible translation. That being said, I have run 4 loads through it yesterday and today, and so far, I really like it a lot! I'll have to see how it holds up under many more loads, and if needed, I will change the 5 star review in the future. But right now, I'm very happy I bought this. We recently moved to a "tiny home" with no piped water, but we do have electricity. I do have other ways to do laundry manually, but wringing the water out before hanging to dry has always been a big issue. So I thought I'd give this a try.

As another reviewer said, I fill up water jugs (or you can just use a bucket) to empty into the washer tub. Depending on your load, you can set the washer time up to 15 minutes and either "normal" or "gentle" cycle. I got the 26 pound size, which is actually 18 pounds for the washer and 8 pounds for the spinner (it is NOT A DRYER!!!). I've done 2 king size flats sheets and 2 king size pillow cases in one wash load. I really doubt it would accomodate a king size blanket, unless it was very thin, and I am...

siouxfan: The media could not be loaded.  This product does not work well at all. Things I dislike about it after a simple "test" wash:

- The hose connections are cheap plastic tubes with no treads to connect to any type of a spigot or faucet, so you never get a tight connection.
- The entire machine is very lightweight. I can pick it up by myself and lift it chest height with no assistance. Very cheaply made, all plastic.
-You must manually turn the water on and off depending on how full you want the basin. It does not fill on its own like a normal washer.
- It requires a garment bag or your clothes will become very tangled.
- You must tell the machine when to drain. It has no sensors. Every step is manual, so you need to be home the entire time, babysitting this machine.
- After draining, you manually load the clothes into the "spin" basin, which makes the machine...
