GERBS All-Natural Dried Whole Figs (32 oz Bag)

TaylorlibTaylorlib: Correction: Was told I could boil figs and freeze, then use as needed. The figs don't smell or have bad odor so may be just overripe. Im still not happy with small hole in bag. So will see if this is salvageable...paste tastes like sweet fig.

Initital review: Not safe! Back of bag had a hole in it. Figs all look unhealthy, cracked skins, black and these aren't Black Mission Figs. No added sugar and if this is crystallized process then they have been in storage with hole in bag for too long! Not safe to bake with and forget "fresh eating". Sad to write a negative review but this may cause illness. 😳😭

dina: Drier than others I’ve had, buttt this one does contain any sulfates/sulfites. So I would keep getting this over the others for the gut benefits/fiber it provides. It tastes very good, moist enough, a good buy. If preservatives aren’t a concern for you, there are definitely others out there. But if preservatives are something you’re looki to avoid, them get these. Because they’re perfect for what your liking for.

L. Jones: I love figs. They make a great snack when I want something sweet and healthy. The figs I received from Gerbs are delicious. They are fresh and sweet. I have tried dried figs from other sellers and have been disappointed because they were crystallized, hard, and tasted fermented. I am very pleased with the product from Gerbs and I will definitely order from them again.

Julie: I haven't had much luck purchasing dried figs at the grocery store or even at specialty stores. Often they darken in the package, even before opening, and acquire a sour taste. These figs are perfect. They're dried but still moist--and delicious! Also, they arrived well packaged and in just a few days. I'll be back to order these again.

Update: I've now ordered 3 bags of these figs. They are all great quality. These will be a regular purchase for me.

Cami320: These are the best dried figs on the market. Hands down! They are so fresh and carefully packaged, making them undeniably more moist and sweet than the ones you'll find sitting on the grocery store shelf. I have anaphylactic food allergies and a very limited diet, so I also whole heartedly appreciate Gerbs' dedication and mindfulness when it comes to being an allergen free facility (top 10 free). Because of this I order from them monthly. This past month's order of figs were dried out for the first time ever which is why I knocked off a star...but no company can be perfect! Thank you Gerbs for being an awesome trustworthy company. Two grateful thumbs up.
