Stephen L.Stephen L.: Excellent material for barn door projects. Built this barn door using the black pipes. Holes were drilled into the bottom and top of the horizontal 6x2s and then widened with the appropriate spade. The pipes are then fit into the 6x2s and those are then fastened through the 2x4s at the side with 5/8 4 in hex lags. The pipes can rotate freely in the holes but are as fixed as can be.

Melissa Chiasson: I have purchased many off these posts for DIY projects! They are strong and sturdy and look great… a bit hard to turn into connectors due to the paint on the treads but an easy fix.
The last pack l bought was disappointing only 3 of the 6 posts was in the box and one wasn’t even threaded!! But again returned, refunded and re ordered no big deal 😁
Will definitely be buying more
