You get what you pay for, I suppose. When taking this out of the box, I immediately noticed that it felt cheap. Then when I started to put it together, my feelings were confirmed as I struggled to keep it together long enough to get the screws in, which kept falling into a small lip and were super hard to remove. Then I tried to put the enclosed sifting liners in the box. What a nightmare! The liners were way too big to fit properly which meant a lot of overhang, so the bottom of the box no longer fit. Then when my cats used it, urine everywhere (except in the litter, of course). Then the sifting action barely worked. At least the size was OK.

Due to the lid not latching, all the litter gets pushed out in between the sides of the pan and the lid. The cats can also take the lid off, the pan is really shallow and all the litter goes all over the floor even if they keep the lid on.

Yes, the instructions are in Chinese but the pictures are enough to figure out the easy assembly. You are just putting the 5 sides together and putting screws where there are clearly holes. It even comes with a screwdriver! Just needed a simple litterbox for the office and this fits the bill.
