Amazon Customer: One container arrived packed in box and was sealed and fresh. The second arrived in the serving container, no box. Weak stickers for "tamper proof" seals that were loose. Inner seal not sealed on so threw the whole container away.

Clarance HughesClarance Hughes: When I opened the box I was amazed at how big this bag actually is. I did notice that there are no nutritional facts labeled on this package and that it's vacuum sealed. The rye chips are of decent size and most of them came intact.

How it taste? Well not much to write home about unfortunately. I live for the feel thirsty after eating rye chips because of the salt flavor. This doesn't have that I need a drink satisfaction and it's not too big of a deal but it's very noticable. It taste more like rye bread rather than salty flavored chips, so it can be good for someone looking to cut back on sodium but that's where all the flavor is.

Ghardettos taste like it should and if your looking for that flavor and taste then get those instead. These aren't bad at all given how big of a quantity you get but the quality is lacking.

Daisyladyklg: My mom of 84 years absolutely LOVES the regular minis BUT our grocery store stopped stocking them. After not having them for over a month, I took her shopping and while at checkout she’s singing “all I want for Christmas is my... 2 bags of Sturgis minis”.

I hated that she couldn’t get them.
So Amazon to the rescue.
I guess she was a little excited to open the package my dad brought into her but when I called later that day, she didn’t seem so excited. So I was a little disappointed.

HOWEVER, she called me a few days later and said they are AMAZING!!
She honestly did not think she would like cheese flavored pretzels but Sturgis came through again.

Btw, the grocer must have had other complaints because the last time we went shopping, there they were on an isle end.

CinemaPete: I recently had occasion to receive a gift basket from a well-known source (letters of their name start with H & D) that contained Honey Mustard Pretzels. These pretzels from H & D were simply delicious. The only problem was they came in a small bag, so there were not that many of them.

I liked the H & D pretzels so much that I decided to purchase more and so came across these Honey Mustard Pretzel Bits, in 1 Lb bags and ordered two bags.

Well, I have to say that I received my order well in advance of the expected due date period - excellent delivery.

Unfortunately, I have to say I am dissaponted with these when compared to the H & D Honey Mustard Pretzels.

The problem I found with these is a) they are literally hard as a rock - you might break a molar trying to bite into one of these, b) mine didn't taste at all like pretzels, there was no pretzel taste at all -seemed like really old dry white bread, c) although they are sort of tasty in and of themselves they have a predominantly mustard taste more than anything else, very little honey taste and zero pretzel taste.

If all examples are just as hard they should rename these...

Benedict Rocks: You get a small box 4"x4"x6" containing a pound for $12; the price of decent steak and just about as dense. The box contains two small bags not much bigger than an adult male fist. At first, they don't taste that great, but the flavor sneaks up on you and becomes addictive. That's when the problem started for us. We weighed out a handful of these (78g) then paused to calculate caloric load. WOW! These are delicious AND dense. That handful was ~280 calories and we could easily eat several more handfuls before slowing down.

Three handfuls = 840 calories and ~$6.25. That's a bit much for us to get 'addicted' to as a family; a bit too dangerous to both our waistlines and our wallets. So while we enjoyed our first small box, we won't be reordering or recommending.

Oh, BTW the chips themselves are pretty small too. We were hoping they'd be the size of the New York style chips we bought previously. Those made great canapés particularly with fish. These are too small for that. At only <1.25" in diameter we found them just a bit awkward to eat as a canapé.
