Steve: This is probably one of the best vegan frozen dinners I've had. And probably the only one where the photo looks just like the food. I like to keep one of these in the freezer for when I'm feeling extra lazy. Makes a great lunch or dinner, but you might want to have an extra side like a salad if you need more calories. The meatball has a nice texture, despite being vegan, and the asparagus is perfectly cooked. (It has some actual bite to it like fresh asparagus and isn't mushy at all.) That said, these can be a bit pricy so I tend to stock up when they go on sale.

Val Grant: I've had other Purple Carrot meals before and decided to give this one a try when I ordered grub from Whole Foods. These "meat"balls had an amazing consistency, good flavour, and were bigger than they appear on the box. While I was a little surprised at the use of orzo, it worked surprisingly well, and the asparagus (which I thought at first were green beans) and the peas were nice.
Full disclosure: As is my wont with most foods, I had added a little hot sauce and shredded cheese.

Lovinlife123: It's pretty good. It has a little spice to it. I'm a dairy free vegetarian and I don't care for "fake meat". I think it would be better without the meatless meatballs. It's rather filling and has a fresh taste to it...doesn't have that previously frozen way about it. I don't taste the lemon/basil flavoring, rather it seems like a spiced up marinara to me.
