drew: This is not a thick wool or cotton balaclava. It it is thin and it stretches.
For me it is perfect when worn under the main headgear.
I wear it under my bike helmet when its really cold out, and it gives me that extra layer of warmth and wind resistance.
I love it and give it two thumbs up!
