Gaffer Power Professional Grade Gaffer Tape: Ideal for Professional Use

Ryan B: No major complaints. Fairly old roll (4 years) and it still adheres fine to everything.

One issue ( keep in mind I purchased this 4 years ago). The roll is breaking down on the edges. The black tape has white powdery edges.
Still works fine after removing 1/4 inch on each side.
This might not be an issue if I used it more often. It has been sitting unused for at least a year or two.

Tommy Engel: Used it for a show a couple of weeks ago and it works flawlessly. Taped down a mic cable, instrument, and effects pedal cables to an outdoor grass carpet and it held up all night. When we broke down for the night gear, it was easy to pull up. If it rolls over on itself, you aren't getting that piece apart. Also, the metal clip my wireless guitar rig has, to clip onto my belt, broke. I was able to reattach the clip with this tape and it helped up all evening. It's still holding up. GOOD STUFF.

L: Absolutely must have product. It sticks exceptionally well while remaining easy to remove. Can be used for everything from covering wires on your floor, to taping boxes shut, to covering damage on black furniture.

The only thing to watch out for is the sticky residue that may be left behind on items you've kept taped down for prolonged periods of time. It can be difficult to remove and rubbing alcohol doesn't do much to help - I'm certain there's some product you can use to make this a painless process, but I haven't had the need to find it yet.

Rae J, Alberta CanadaRae J, Alberta Canada: The media could not be loaded.  This is my first purchase of gaffer tape, so I can't compare this brand with others. But I can say that this product has amazed me. I bought it originally to place a marker at the top of our stairs, for safety. The flooring and the stairs are both the same laminate, and it was easy to miss the first step. It has been on the floor now for more than 2 weeks, and although we have walked over it many times, it continues to adhere to the floor with no peeling at all.

Then I used it to stick a temporary notice to the front door of our church. It stuck there in the wind just fine, and when I removed it later not only did the tape lift off the door as clean as a whistle, it peeled off the paper just as well. It was just ordinary copy paper, but it was just as pristine after I removed the tape as it was before.

Then the sliding door in our shower wouldn't stay closed. It slowly drifted open during a shower. The track on which the rollers ran was sloping slightly. I took a piece of the tape and wrapped it around the track. That was enough to stop the drift, but the door slides over it easily when we open or close it in the normal way. It...

SIAMAK ELYASI: I ordered this product for my 3D printer for covering my aluminum heated bed (XYZ pro printer). My heated bed is aluminum.
Pros:
1- bonding to aluminum is very good even at high temperature (100 degree C)
2- ABS stick to it well but if I add Elmer Craft Glue (Purple one), it is extremely hard to remove it from the tape. It is very good for large base pieces. I did not test PLA.
3- I use it many times (may be 6 times) before replacing it.
4- tape is very strong. I use it for securing insulation on a 750w/110 v silicone heater to aluminum bed of my other 3D printer Gheeetech A30. It works great.
5- I use it for tying bunch of loss wires, it works very well.
6- Delivery on amazon was fast

almost nothing expect than the price which I believe for this quality tape is not bad.

watches the sky: I cannot believe how wonderful this tape is. I taped up a sign on an outside brick wall. It has been rained on so many times and also has been frozen and it's still holding strong! I've used it on 2 metal cabinet doors that refuse to stay closed. The tape holds, pulls up easily to open the cabinets and sticks right back when I close them. They must have been opened 100 times and the tape is still working as if it were the first time. I have used it to tape up boxes, then realized that I left something out of the cardboard box. The tape pulled up easily with only about a 1 inch by 1/4 inch piece of paper pulling up from the box. The tape then resealed the box perfectly. When I went to put the box back in storage, it slipped in my hands and I was holding it upside down with the tape on the bottom. It was about 50 lbs and I thought sure that the tape would fail and everything would spill. It did not. The tape held fast. It has worked great around my windows to help keep out the cold. You know how sometimes you get tape crooked and when you pull it up to straighten it, the tape twists and sticks to itself? This has not happened at all with the GafferPower Gaffer tape.
