J Mac: First, I have to say that these mats are great because they keep the grill clean and the food actually cooks faster and meats stay juicy without creating the burned, potential carcinogens on the meat. They are non-stick material, but the char from the grille is very difficult to clean off. Give yourself some extra time at the sink for cleanup of these sheets. Overall, though, a positive experience.

Sunny: These work great but they are a bear to clean. I scrubbed and scrubbed and then I scrubbed some more. Will try cooking spray next time. I LOVED the way all of my ribeye stayed up above the mat instead of parts of it falling thru the grill!

Cindy: These work great. I love not getting all the yuck on my grill. I scrape them off (once they've cooled) with an old plastic card, and then load them into the dishwasher in an arch shape with the dirty side down. If you're washing a cutting board or a jelly roll pan or some other large flat thing, you could lean the sheet against it (dirty side out of course). That works, too. They do great in the dishwasher. You do NOT need the "copper" sheets. They're just *colored* in a sort of copper color. They don't actually contain any copper--that's just a fad/hoax. Even if they did contain copper, I don't think that would be a big advantage. It's just an advertising thing.

Walid Jomaa: I used them for filet mignon steak and tofu pieces, I liked them right away for a number of reasons: The grill was on low, i felt the heat was even that way, non of the fat from the meat fell on the burners, so no fire started. the meat will cook in its melted fat which keeps the meat moist, but you can cut the fat before grilling or just wipe it away when grilling, they were non stick for sure, so i didn't have to scrape the meat of the grill bars.
Although with the steaks no pieces would have fallen but without a doubt i can see the benefit when grilling vegetables or fish, or anything that can fall thru the grill bar. I recommend them without a doubt. very small price to pay to have a better grilling experience, and at the end i could wash and wipe them clean.

Jon Boy: Doesn't really Grill in the sense of a real Bar B Que. It is amazing that it doesn't burn or dirty the grill. Great for sautéing Shrimp cooking fish, vegetables small things that would fall through the grates. My thought is sear your meat with direct heat to get the flavor of the smoke then finish on the Grill Mat to prevent burning. Easy Clean up
