Amazon Customer: Bought this for an outdoor winter social distancing get together because it reminded me of the hats I used to see in Europe at ski places and Christmas Markets that I thought were great but never bought because of “fur guilt.” While (I think) those some of those real fur hats are spectacular and can really look super luxurious and stylish, this has more of a poofy, garish and comical look and feel—people see you in the hat will laugh and comment but if you are wearing it with a sense of humor and desire to stay warm, it’s great. A previous reviewer who likened it to a glam-rock 80’s haircut was spot on. I don’t think anyone will see you in this hat and think you look at all glamorous, but it’s super warm, it’s fun, and a conversation starter. Overall I’m glad I bought but it’s definitely more of a niche item to wear to specific events rather than something I’d wear regularly.
