Linda K: This blanket lives up to its purpose and is waterproof. Depending on how much liquid ends up on the surface, some of it will bead up, but some of it will also absorb into the one side of the blanket. Nothing however gets through the blanket.
Because of the waterproofing of the blanket, it is heavier than your average fluffy blanket and much warmer - everything is staying on the side of the blanket it is currently on, including heat!
Overall I think it’s a great purchase and recommend it.

BeckyBecky: My cat randomly pees on our bed. Having to wash all your bedding late at night is a pain, this blanket is great and saves me time. The photo is not long after he peed. Sometimes the pee is absorbed into the blanket but it has never gone through the other side onto the bedding. Love this blanket.

BossyFatBabeBossyFatBabe: My husband and I got three of these sheets for our couch and ottoman because we have two messy puppies and two cats, one of whom is truly evil and sprays everywhere. We were able to make them fit pretty well even with our chaise. They’re very soft and actually more comfortable to sit on than my bare couch, plus the reverse side is textured enough that they resist slipping out of place very well. I can open and close our ottoman without the sheet over it budging at all. Most importantly, they’re totally waterproof as we have discovered after a few accidents.

My only issue is that when we wash them, they take an age to dry, especially on the “low” setting. I think the reason for this is that they’re purposely made to be absorbent on the surface, so they soak up a LOT and even after the spin cycle to drain them they’re still very heavy with water. For this reason, we’re getting a second set so that we can have a spare while one set is being washed. Highly recommend!
