Isaac Liu: I was hesitant to try this dish, as it contains a lot of vegetables, which are difficult to cook well in the microwave. It ended up being better than expected, and there was a fair amount of flavor. The portion size was also pretty good. I'm not sure if I'll get it again, but it seems to be a decent option for a relatively light frozen meal.

vacuumtubejazzpro: This has become my favorite frozen meal on Amazon. No, it's not restaurant quality, but for frozen, it's pretty darned good. You can actually taste cilantro, onions, chicken, beans, and peppers. I sometimes add a touch of soy sauce, or squeeze in a bit of fresh lime (or some cilantro), and then heat a couple of corn tortillas in the microwave. It also seems healthier than the typical mass-market frozen food, which too often primarily consists of white flour pasta and cheap cheese.
EDIT: I just lowered the rating to 3 stars as of 8-2022. The one I just ate was pretty terrible. The flavor is 100% gone - it just tastes like plain steamed vegetables, like they left out the sauce. The chicken, instead of being grilled and flavorful, consisted of these pieces of flavorless and mealy white meat. Truly a disappointment. This had been just about the only frozen meal on Amazon that was worth eating, and now I'm left with nothing.

Petite Poire: I really don’t like to cook for one, but I do like to eat well and as healthily as possible. I’ve had several of Frontera’s meals and they’re all flavorful, delicious, and well balanced. They’re slightly spicy. On a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 is bland and 10 is “call a fire engine”, the level is a 2 or 3. I always read the labels and there’s nothing in these that I can’t pronounce or that sounds like it came from a pharmacy.
I also appreciate that the bowls can go into the compost bin.
I’m so happy that there are more companies paying attention to the health of people and the environment.

Ryan: I do not like anything spicy hot. That said, I’ve been reading about the benefits of bowls with protein and beans and how southwest inspired foods are the new food fad. One reviewer said it’s not overly hot yet the box says medium heat. Sorry long back story, for those who want are like me this is the best southwest less-spicy bowl I’ve eaten. Reviews say no chicken, I had plenty of pieces that were thick and grill-marked. No peppers and onions? More than plenty. If I had to pick a negative, which isn’t truly a negative, it has a lot of black beans, more than I’d prefer. Overall, I’m pleased I can now eat a southwestern frozen meal and I just ordered three more,
