AmazonUser: This is a very nice and well made slip lead, however the rope is too stiff. When you make a corrective tug, the rope tends to mute the correction. It also always feels like it's becoming twisted like a garden hose. There are better options out there.

Daren: Good, but it does have some elasticity to it. Also if you have a wanderer, it will twist up, otherwise, quality leash.

Mrs. Palindrome: This slip leash is currently our regular leash for our Golden Retriever and German Shepherd dogs. It’s a good sturdy leash, well-made compared to many other slip leashes in the market. It lasted 8 months, which is the best we had so far considering our extremely energetic GSD. I surely wish it would last longer but still, I’m happy with the purchase and bought a replacement. I did buy also another more expensive brand just to try and compare. I have not used that one yet though.

Amazon Customer: I have two of these and they are great leashes. My dog Beni loves it so much whenever I make the loop and hold it down he walks right into it knowing he’s headed out for a walk. A lead like this is best for controlling your dog. Harnesses promote bad behavior because the dog will pull and it doesn’t bother him. My dog learned to walk on a lead from early on and he doesn’t pull on me when we are walking. He walks beside me or a little ahead but he rarely pulls. When he does it doesn’t seem to hurt him because I have one with a large diameter rope. Don’t get one that’s to thin. That is more apt to heart the dog. I’d always opt for the larger size. Anyways people need to control their dogs and a harness is terrible for that. I’ve seen it over and over again especially on larger dogs.
