JKristellx: Infants move ALOT. These nail clippers help you to cut their nails safely which is top priority. Easy to use, they cut well and are sharp but the design prevents them from causing injury to baby. Two thumbs up.

Tabitha GardnerTabitha Gardner: The media could not be loaded.  I just repurchased this. I’ve had one for 3 years from the time my youngest was born. I lost the little pin that goes in the middle of the nail clipper. It popped out and I couldn’t find it. I tried using other nail clippers and there’s no way I can use anything but these now and so I had to go and buy another one right away. It’s perfect for newborns. I have really high anxiety about clipping nails on babies and children and I’m always so afraid to hurt them but these are amazing. It takes the fear away, you can’t clip their skin. You don’t even have to look very closely. It’s just really safe and easy. I also never clipped really short or anything but these were great and they take away the anxiety. The other great thing they are for is my daughter that has autism hates her nails being clipped so she only will tolerate it if it’s a very fast process, and she tolerates these clippers great. They’re also very fast and quiet and I can use them when my babies are sleeping, which is really easy to clip their nails when they’re not moving around I wish I would’ve had this when I had my first of four children it would’ve...

Mom who made booboos with other clippers: I very badly cut my little one trying to snip his nails as he was scratching himself daily. Let’s just say, gauze was used on my poor baby! Someone told me about these and they are so idiot-proof. The blades are designed such that only a very small amount of matter can enter the space between the blades, and they only snip little bits at a time so you don’t cut the entire nail at once. The file is well designed to follow up on any janky bits. It may take slightly longer to clip but there is peace of mind knowing they are well-designed to protect your precious little one. Bonus: they don’t make a loud snipping sound so clipping while they are asleep is made easy!

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I tried using it where I could see the nail through the “little window” and although it worked, I found it a little tedious. It was much easier to do it a different way. It was hard to take pics to show since I needed one of my hands to take the pic. I found it was easier to hold my babys hand up (or each finger), pointing towards the sky. I then held the clippers straight up over her nail, to where the white hand piece was facing me (to where the window was not facing my direction). I hope this makes sense! It was quicker and easier this way, vs using it the way you would have to, in order to use the “window” feature on them. The nail clippers are great. They cut quick and sharp (as in you barely have to push down on them). You can slide nail under the clippers to avoid nicking. They are easy to press down and cut much easier and quicker then others I have used. I did not use the file yet so have nothing to say about that. To me, the window feature is not that great. If your babies nails were really really long, then maybe this would help?? Regardless the clippers are great.
