Dannygirl: My 9 year old HAD to have “shades” for baseball, but I would not spend hundreds on a particular name brand. Franklin is synonymous with baseball and these satisfied his want. They are a little more than I’d want to spend on sunglasses for a kid, but I thought I could hopefully trust the UV protection with a name brand. So far they’ve worked great for hot/sunny ball games, and they stay on during play.
