Phil Bolos: The Human Team: So, You Created A Team But People Showed Up! by Jeanet Wade is a great resource for anyone in a business who is in charge of people and is looking for ways to make their teams more energized, more productive, and more successful. The number one thing that is forgotten when working with people is that they are...people. They are not machines that can endlessly, they are not robots who focus on just one task. People need reassurance, they need breaks, they need confidence, and they need acknowledgement for their successes. What the author does in this book is take all of her own experiences in the business world and use them to teach the reader how to properly motivate people to be successful in a team setting. The book is clearly organized, and it is obvious the author has a deep understanding of both business and how to work with people.

George: Hiring people is one thing and creating a team is a different matter. If you are looking for help in that aspect you came to the right book, because not only did I learn how to assess my leadership skills this book also helps us assess the status of the team we have or we are building. It is interesting and helpful to learn, as a leader, that most of the things we think don't affect but improve the team actually don't. Every member of a team has their specific roles and individuality, it is a leader's (manager) job to find out those characteristics and somehow help them connect to one another. The 6 facets of human needs are really basic concepts but most of the time look passed, and it is god to know how these concepts affect the team dynamics and environment of the team, so that it is easier for us to manage them.

Carlitas: With this book, anyone who is interested in embarking on a business will find valuable information to do so. “The Human Team” is a compelling read penned by Jeanet Wade.
In every chapter, the author includes information regarding the company's organization, its theoretical background and some of Jeanet's experiences and other people in the field. When it comes to experiences, it's interesting the way she shows the vulnerability and doubts that sometimes people have before setting up any business. By doing so, she highlights the idea that if people recognize their weaknesses and accept them, this will help them cope with future problems and build a thriving business. Besides, it reinforces the idea that human beings are sociable by nature so connections are really important for business. I liked the way everything is explained and exemplified, either by anecdotes or quotes. I highly recommend it.
