Terry: In 2016, I bought a gallon of this stuff. In 2023, I bought it again, only in 32 Oz size this time. I remember the gallon was very expensive, but it lasted seven years, so I am not complaining.

My ex-roommate had a macaw that pooped everywhere. I mean everywhere. She would let him out of his cage and didn’t feed him bird food, rather people food. MY people food. So his poop was extremely runny. I don’t have a sense of smell, but visitors told me the house smelled like poop.

I used the two cups or so left of the gallon and was encouraged when told the smell was getting better. I know I have to keep looking for macaw poop deposits, but itʼs getting better.

The best part? It also removes pet stains, which is why I bought it in the first place. The tenants before us had three chihuahuas who peed everywhere. Although the carpet was professionally cleaned once a year, the stains always came back.
Folex got rid of the stains for a least the year, they didn’t keep reappearing after the professional cleaning the prior tenants used, usually within a week after the cleaning.

I use this to also remove the stains left from macaw poop. They haven’t come...

Stephanie L.: We went away for a long weekend and came home to find that our dogs had gotten a LARGE black stain (as big around as a basketball) on our beige carpet. We aren't sure what the stain was, but I'm pretty positive it was ink. The stain was so large that I couldn't even face cleaning it and let it sit... for months. Then my sister told me about Folex and so I decided to try it on the black stain. I wish I had taken "before" photos. The stain is completely gone! I thought the carpet was ruined for sure, but Folex saved the day! It's a miracle. I will keep a large bottle of this on hand for the rest of my life. Great stuff! No smell, easy to use, and so affordable! I love this stuff.

Don T: I used this on the carpeted ceilings of my Class A motorhome that probably hadn't been cleaned since 1996. It tackled everything I applied it to. I just replaced the 27 year old air-conditioner and the interior louver and control housing on the ceiling is smaller than the original, leaving a belt of absolute filth around the new housing perimeter. Next to that is the area where rising hot air from the kitchen range hits the ceiling, leaving soot and congealed grease. What a mess! From previously repaired roof leaks in two places there are water stains. Then, there were air pathways from the previous air-conditioner blown forward and down the hallway.
ONE application of Folex, applied in square foot patches, gently massaged into the surface, then blotted out using an old bath towel - and it's ALL gone! And it only took one inexpensive bottle of Folex. I bought an extra bottle to use on my car's upholstery later.

Manushri: I spilled turmeric on my dorm carpet floor, and it was a disaster. This spray helped me remove most of the dye off it. I would recommend using a glove if you are going to use them, since my hands were smelly after using them often.

Also don't spray it too close to the surface as well.

G. Winn: I bought this to try and treat a long standing stain on a cream carpet. It has definitely improved the staining although not quite 100% removed it. I put this down to the fact it has been there for a year or more and has been in the sun for some of the day. I am pleased with this product and can recommend it.

Lloyd Manning: This has removed every stain I have tried it on. It is brilliant. Unfortunately it is far too expensive to ship it in to Australia so I no longer use it!! Help form the supplier would be appreciated here.

Hanna K.: I bought this based off the good reviews and the fact that it states on the packaging that it's good for pet messes. My new puppy peed on a rug, so I brought it out for a test. The cleaning properties seem good enough. I sprayed, agitated the rug slightly. And then just setup a wad of paper towels with weight to soak up all the liquid. There is no staining, however there's also no clean smell either. This could be all in my head but I feel as though it needs a scent. My dogs nose is better than mine... should there be any remaining urine at all, he could find it and decide that's the pee spot. I feel like a scented cleaner would help? I find it hard to believe that it would totally eliminate fecal smells or vomit smells either if you follow the package directions exactly. That being said I didn't stick my nose down in there to know for sure if it still smells like pee. He is only a puppy, and pees like a tablespoon at a time. But the older he gets I don't want to take any chances. So. My solution was to add a pipette of essential oils to the entire bottle. So I shake it before each use, and I'm left with a slight lavender scent now. Not much, but it appeased me.
