This brand of cleaner for our garbage disposal was recommended by the technician who installed it so I've been using it for many years now to keep everything flowing smoothly and to cut back on bad smells. It works great and is very easy to use. It is a bit entertaining to watch working, too, with it fizzing up and making a lot of noise. But I find it amusing. I use it at least once a month though the packaging recommends you use it once a week. This carton of it includes 3 packets that have 4 separate treatments or 12 full treatments in all for a better price than the per 4 treatment packet I've found it in our local grocery store in the past.

These work wonderfully; we just moved into a townhouse (as renters) with a disposal that smelled horrible! Instead of installing a whole new disposal, we decided to give these a try instead. The lemon/bleach kind did a great job of cleaning the disposal out -- no more stench as we walk by! My guess is we will have to use about one of these every month to keep up on the disposal but it is a quick and easy solution to clean a disposal. The whole process takes about 4 minutes and it's even fun to watch :)
