A. D. HoneyA. D. Honey: The media could not be loaded. I am a crafter am always looking for “out of the box” uses for everyday items. Everyone knows what dry floral foam is. It is the styro-foamy-feeling green lump in the bottom of the vase or decorative basket, holding those beautiful flowers in the perfect arrangement. When I recently purchased dry floral foam, I wanted to know what ELSE it could be used for. I purchased AND RECEIVED 2 pretty good-sized blocks, that only cost $4.55 (with free shipping from Amazon Prime), which I thought was a pretty good deal. This product is very sturdy, yet easy to cut with a serrated knife (I used a kitchen steak knife – don’t tell my wife!). I cut a square block just slightly larger than the bottom of a vase and with just a little bit of effort, pushed the dry block to the bottom of the vase. It fit snuggly and did not disappoint. This is a very simple method for dry floral arrangements, including artificial flowers. It is not for using for a fresh cut arrangement, which would require the foam to be soaked. This product, however, will NOT absorb water and is not meant to be used where wet foam is required.

Canadian Jane: Just as expected, received 2 floral bricks. These are expensive for what they are. But in a bind Amazon comes through. Will use next year to arrange poinsettias in baskets for Christmas. One star off because They are pricey for disposable foam at $10

N. Wang: They're floral foam bricks as described and as expected. I used them for sculpting a cosplay accessory, so can't speak to their water absorption. Takes Mod Podge and hardens well.

Nelson: These came ... 2 bricks of foam, wrapped together. I ordered 2, so I rec 4 bricks of foam. Super easy to use for silk arrangements. I didn’t need any hot glue. I was able to use wire clippers and cut my silks - design/stick them straight into this foam. I took off a star just because u can find them cheaper at craft stores. BUT - because u can order online and have delivered... totally worth it!
