Scott Hutchison: Needed to increase working time for painting doors with a Benjamin Moore product and this worked flawlessly. I had had trouble with sprayer and paint viscosity combination and needed a smooth finish for some interior doors. I found adding 32ml (1oz) per 500ml (say 2 cups) worked great for my application.

Julie Traboulsy: Not sure Wowza is a word, but in this case, Wowza! I use Flood Floetrol in my paints for fluid art, and it's amazing! Shipment is crazy fast and secure. They always have the spillproof strip of tape across the lids and sometimes also placed in a secure bag to prevent spills and to contain a spill incase it happens. I've not had any spills in shipment from this seller. I highly recommend this product if you Use a "pearl" recipe for fluid art.
Price is great for the amount of product you're getting also. It's easy to open and also to secure. There's no scent that I can smell when I use this. I've heard the one with irange lid has a bad smell. I've always received the white lids and have had no issues.

Jay: Very experienced DIY'er here. Been painting and refinishing various things for a lot of years. Can't believe it took me this long to discover this stuff.

I'm working on a big built-in cabinet project. All scratch built. Started painting some of it with sprayer because I didn't want brush or roller marks. But what a nuisance that sprayer is. Wastes paint, takes way too long to set up, gotta put up plastic everywhere, takes too much space to do the spraying. And the CLEANUP -- yuck -- takes forever!

I've got a lot of painting left to do on these cabinets. About twelve feet wide by nine feet high. Need to paint the cabinet interiors, face frames, shelves, and 20 doors.

So I started Googling to see if I could find a way to paint by hand without leaving brush or roller marks. I found mention of Floetrol on a forum somewhere. Dug further. Bought some. Figured I'd try it on a few of the adjustable shelves to see if I could avoid hauling out the sprayer and all that plastic sheeting for the rest of the project.

Just tried it. Shelves were already painted with primer and sanded. Added eight oz of Floetrol to a little less than a gallon of Sherwin Williams...
