Natalie: These shorts are nice, but the picture makes them appear to be a more casual swim short. The shorts we received are more of a form fitting tankini short that will not serve to wear as cover up shorts. That assumption was based on the picture not the description.

gatorparker: These are cute, just arrived last week so haven't had a chance to swim in them. Glad I read other reviews and ordered up a size. I am a 2/4, but ordered the Mediums and SO glad I did as they fit ~ not roomy but fit fine. Wishing the waist was a little higher but that's just me, the color is bright and I am happy with my purchase.
Oh and I pulled the waist string out, just not needed. (of course if they grow when I swim, I may be putting it back in! LOL)

Lisa: Bought these for a trip to FL because I love board shorts. They are really great quality and super soft and comfy. They run small! Order a size up. I initially ordered a small and gave them to my boyfriends 15 year old that is tiny! I loved them though and so does she. I ordered more and ordered a medium and they are perfect. I picked a pair up for my 16 yr old and his 18 yr old as well. I normally wear a size 4. My waist is about a 27. The medium was perfect and the small was way too small. They are adorable and you will love them. Just order a size up.

Maddie: These shorts/swim bottoms are okay. I ordered size medium and they're comfortable, definitely not too tight ( I might even order a small, should I reorder). The bottoms I received, however, look nothing like the picture: they do not have any string to tie at the top, neither do they have side slits, as the others have shown. Mine are simple straightforward shorts--no inner lining, no side slits, and no tie at the waistline-plain. I normally wear a size 2 in shorts, pants and jeans, so if you prefer not too loose, but not too tight, go with the medium, but don't get taken in by the little trappings, as I've said mine are ordinary and plain.

Page: Technically these are good swim shorts. They aren't short, so one might feel comfortable with the extra coverage the length provides. The material is thin and also loose around the thigh. I'm 5'3", 39-32-43, and I bought a Large. Unfortunately, these are too long for me. I didn't like the way they looked, but that's based on my personal preference. The built in panty also seemed a bit tight on my bum, but not uncomfortably so. The panty was visible, but others might assume its a seperate swim bottom underneath. I personally don't like VPL, visible panty lines, that's partly why I will be returning these. Technically there's nothing wrong with them. I'm sure they would look great on anyone else.
