Anon: I have a bunch of Fisher pens. They write when cold, on all sorts of paper. If you don’t lose it, it’ll last forever. Yes, it’s more expensive than the throw aways, but it won’t leave you stranded.

MGB: Do not buy this pen. It is expensive and bad quality. Mine broke within a month of me owning it. When I looked at how to get a replacement it is a longwinded process involving downloading a form and then sending pen via recorded delivery and then waiting for a replacement. That’s bad customer service for Amazon. When I’ve had to report broken items to suppliers on Amazon before they just send out a replacement or refund no questions asked. Very disappointed.

Charles: Acquistata (come la precedente) per metterla in auto, quindi esposta a temperature estreme (inverno e estate), ha sempre funzionato perfettamente. Resiste a temperature estreme e non ha mai mostrato segni di cedimento. Scrive sempre in qualunque condizione ambientale, anche dopo anni di inutilizzo. Questa versione (basic, con il corpo in plastica) è ottima per lo scopo. Se poi volete modelli più belli (alluminio etc.) non avete che l'imbarazzo della scelta, ma in quel caso....non lasciatela in auto 😉

Mikhail S. Jenkins: I use this pen nearly every day I can find it. And its easier to find than most pens as its larger than most pens. This pen is push button, so it keeps the pen head that write anywhere out of action when not needed. For that alone I love this pen. I know there is another type of Push button space pen and I have that too, but that one seems too much, well, breakable. I know there are others too but I'm trying to keep the budget feasible.
One of the great things is you can put one in the pocket of the coat you use for winter and not worry if its going to work in intense cold, because it was made to. The ink flow on this pen seems a lot more feasible than other space pens, it seems to come out a lot regularibley and smoothly. I know there have some who have complained about the pen's size and that its too big for them. I compare holding it to the first bullet pen and find little difference except that I feel a lot safer holding this one. Personally I don't think it's too big to hold. Others have complained its shoddily made, I respond Cyberpunk to that. Truly. If you think it's shoddily made, you must not be a cyberpunk fan where all the future holds is advanced yet cheap...

Barillot: Le gros intérêt de ce stylo Space Pen Eclipse est de pouvoir utiliser les cartouches pressurisées Space Pen dans un stylo abordable.
Le corps en plastique semble solide. Par contre, l'accroche en métal est un peu trop légère.
Bonne tenue en main.
A noter que mon exemplaire, bien qu'arrivé dans son étui d'origine, présente de légères traces de frottement le long du corps en plastique. Frottement pendant le transport ? le stockage ?
Bon rien de grave cependant parce que je n'en fais pas un objet de collection mais un outil de travail.
