DS Illinois: Like many, I own a few Fisher Space Pens of different varieties. This Lacquered Brass pen is unique in that it has these circular etched lines all the way up and down the barrels for a really good grip when writing. These lines mean you do not have to hold it so tight since it will not slip in your hand. I find the cap also holds better because of them. The clip as well has better grip.

I have this pen in a sheath that I carry with my Leatherman multi-tool and it fits (without slipping) into the side pockets and the clip helps hold it just that much better. It's the same exact size as always. Of course it writes extremely well as expected from Fisher's unique pressurized refills. I highly recommend this pen. Well done! to Fisher again.

Svenazon: Actually, so good that everybody else wanted it. Everybody else wanted it so much that I lost friends over it. Found out who were little thieves. But in the end eventually, one of them got it, bastard. I can't go through that heartache again so I guess I'll just stick to more run-of-the-mill pins for myself until I guess I get better friends lol.

Die Verarbeitung aus verchromtem Messing verspricht eine lange Lebensdauer und macht ihn besonders robust. Das besondere an diesem Stift ist jedoch die Kombination mit der Druckkartusche.

Die Tintenpatrone ist hermetisch versiegelt und mit Stickstoffgas unter Druck stehend. Dadurch ist der Stift in der Lage, in jedem Winkel zu funktionieren, ohne auf Schwerkraft angewiesen zu sein. Doch nicht nur das macht ihn zu etwas Besonderem, sondern auch die Tinte selbst. Die Fisher Tinte ist eher ein Gel als eine Flüssigkeit und besitzt eine Konsistenz ähnlich der von Zahnpasta. Erst wenn Druck auf den Kugelschreiber ausgeübt wird, nimmt die Tinte die streichbaren Eigenschaften einer Flüssigkeit an, während sie trotzdem die Klebrigkeit beibehält, die für fast jedes Material benötigt wird. Dadurch gibt es kein Auslaufen des Gasdrucks und der Stift schreibt immer sofort.

Pros:
-Writes well
-Small and compact
-Overall well made
-Dont notice it in your pocket

Cons:
-rattled open or closed
-Not sure how well the finish will hold up(I'll report back)
-There are better writing pens but this will always be in your pocket

This pen is cheap yet made well. It's so small closed up you won't notice it in your pocket or purse. Since it's so small you'll always have it with you.

I had a very annoying rattle when closed and with the cap posted. The fix I read about was electric tape. Instead I used heat shrink tubing on the end of the cartridge to stop in from rattling. Kind of ridiculous Fisher doesn't have tighter tolerances. I knocked one full star off for this oversite.

Great pen, I recommend it. If yours rattle's you could always send it back and get a replacement that hopefully has better tolerances.
