I purchased the mat for my dog to use when we were away from home. While we are away, he is able to go out the doggy door and do his business on the back deck. We use it because he doesn't have access to the grass when we aren't home. I spray soapy water on the mat and use the garden hose to rinse it off. Easy to clean and helps to keep accidents away.

I really wanted this to be a good substitute for fresh grass. It looks pretty real! But my dog was easily able to shred it. It does not clean but I’m not sure if that is a feature. It won’t last. It started falling apart pretty quickly. I live in a townhouse and wanted it for patio. Oh well.
