Layton P.: This product does, in fact, kill unwanted weeds while leaving the good grass in place.
I'm in Dallas, Texas and I've got a pretty nice 50/50 Bermuda/St. Augustine lawn, with crab grass, chick weed, some stuff that looks like a green lace doily, dallis grass, yadda, yadda.
I sprayed each type and as the label says, results were pretty quick in coming. I liked it so much I got another bottle. Weeds will show curling and browning by the next day, dying altogether in 4 days.
If you've got a little arthritis in your thumbs, the manual spray bottle will give them a workout, but I didn't want to invest in a gallon of the concentrate before I knew what it'd do.

RONALD L. RUSSELL: I use this product for the early spring weed Poa Ana and then in middle-late summer when Spurge starts growing. Kills them all with 1 spraying (1 1/2 oz to 1 gallon water). Kills other weeds as well but unsure of name. Great product.

Brian Moon: Context: You could lose yourself in trying to find "the best" weed killer. My dad stumbled onto this stuff a few years ago. He always had a "custom" mixture. It's a learning curve to find the right mixture. Read below:

Pros:
- Product is effective at killing everything, most of the time, besides the grass. Spray all over, and you're grass will be fine.
- Price
- Different volumes available for your yard size.

Cons:
- Experimenting: reading the manual wasn't only overly-complicated, but the recommended amount was far, far too weak. I calculated things multiple times based on yard size and recommendations in the manual. For this chemical to effectively kill clover, or anything other than thistle, I found that I had to increase the potency by a factor of nearly 2. I ramped it up over 3 separate uses and finally got to a lethal dose.

- Not sure it's a con exactly, but to make this stuff is much more effective when adding three drops of Dawn Dish Soap. It visually appears to thicken up the solution a bit more to stick to the leaves on the clover, thistle, and whatever else you're trying to burn up.
