The rich brown wood grain really stands out with the beautiful gloss finish…and the gold headstock tuners really make this ukulele look like royalty! Note: I purchased the decorative vine sticker at the bottom of the ukulele so it does not come with that. But if you like it, it is only $10 here on Amazon. ALSO it sounds wonderful and it is SO easy to play! When I strum chords, it’s easy to hear each individual string sound within that cord…so it’s a very articulate playing instrument. Highly recommend.

CinthyaCinthya: Me enamore del diseño y el color, buen material, llego antes de lo esperado, aunque un poco mas caro que el kala, pero vale la pena.
Para alguien como yo que esta empezando me parece perfecto!!! Sus cuerdas son suaves y gentiles con tus dedos si aun no has desarrollado los famosos “callos “ y muy comodo al tocar.
Lo único es que se desentona mucho mas rapido que mis otros ukuleles, pero he escuchado q es normal cuando es nuevo 🤷‍♀️ .
Llevo dos meses desde que lo recibí y hasta la fecha no me arrepiento 🥰 , aunque me tomo un par de días acostumbrarme a su tono ya que estaba acostumbrada al sonido del kala.

sunkist: I started playing ukulele two years ago and we have 4 ukuleles now. I've had the Fender Walnut concert ukulele since last summer and think it's a fabulous instrument. The tuning pegs are very good quality, the finish of the instrument is very nice, the built in tuner is great, and the gold inlay look like embedded gold flecks of stone.

My 9 year old loves Grace and wanted to get the Moonlight soprano ukulele. It came today and it feels so cheap. The body feels like plastic even though it's wood. The finish is flat, which I get that being part of the design but the concert size is glossy and my daughter wanted a glossy finish on the moonlight version. The tuning pegs feel like absolute garbage. I worry that they're going to break and really, they're some junky tuners. The gold inlay on the Walnut looks like a real stone inlay but the Moonlight uke, it's literally a gold sticker and it's not even shiny.

I'm trying to convince my 9 year old to send this back so we can get a better quality uke for her instead, but she's in love with Grace V and the looks of it, so I think we're gonna have to power through owning it. We own a $40 soprano uke from a flea market in Hawaii...

Katie Douglas: Amazing quality. The sound is excellent. The ukulele itself is beautiful! The ukulele is marked at an affordable price. Our family is very happy with the two Grace VanderWaal Moonlight ukuleles that were purchased for Christmas!

Cody Trask: I've been playing ukulele for about 5 years now, and I've owned a lot of ukuleles in that time, spanning all of the price ranges, and I can tell you, this is the best one I've ever owned. The sound is sheer beauty in every strum and note, the craftsmanship is nothing short of astounding, and the style is cool af. Objectively speaking, the body is ever so slightly larger than a typical soprano ukulele, which allows it to be a little louder than the standard, and gives it a deeper, richer sound. In terms of quality, it's what one should expect from a Fender instrument, that is to say, high. In terms of looks, it's extremely unique. You just don't see a ukulele with this type of head, or gold hardware, or this paint color, and it works just so well. The paint has a mat finish by the way, so you won't get much shine off of it. Truly a remarkable instrument. All that being said, it's expensive. I would not recommend this to anyone who isn't absolutely in love with the looks, because you can get the same quality sound and construction from any other Fender ukulele.

Andrea: This is one of the best investments I have ever made. Liked it so much, I bought two more for my kids (ages 9 & 11) so we could take music lessons together. In a group of 8 ukulele students, our three pretty “Grace” uke’s sound incredible! This has low action on the fret board and is very easy to play. I have tried cheaper ones, but I found that my fingers got sore all the time cause the action on them was way too high. This one is much more comfortable. One of my favourite features on it is that it has a built in tuner so my kids can easily tune their own instruments themselves. They are the only ones in the class that know how to do this on their own. It also stays in tune really well and sounds so beautiful. We are very pleased with our purchase, thank you so much.

Holly Shadrick: My daughter just had to have this uke. She already has two and likes the different sounds and sizes of each. So this one made her list. I bought it early reading all the confusing questions about it. Some said it wasn't a concert size because fender doesn't make one that size...surprise...they do! I purchased it not even knowing it was electric because it didn't mention it in the listing....surprise...it is! It sounds ridiculously amazing and looks as good as it sounds. I'm happy to see the listing info has been updated. No app for it? Go nuts and pay the $35 at Kala for a years worth of giving joy. We've already tried it with an amp and its pretty sweet! Actually we are off to find a small fender later today to match this uke with. SO in short, more than we bargained for, its not just the Grace VanderWall name that makes this instrument amazing.
