newfiegaynor: I purchased a similar set 5 years ago and they only just now needed replacing. This set is lighter and I doubt they will last as long. However, they are still very good value for the money. One caution, the metal handles are NOT stay cool as advertised - I burned my hand the first time I used this set - so wear oven mitts.

Amazon Customer: I was surprised by how shallow these pans are. The largest one is so warped it will not set flat on the stove and all the oil runs to one side. Maybe there is some dish that would benefit from this, but for me it is just frustrating. The nonstick part so far is great. I have had them for only a few weeks, though.

Brad B.: Looked for hours at what kind of pans we were going to buy. All the wat up to 200 dollars. Finally, I said what do the budget brands have to offer. Well, this brand is the brand my parents bought me when I was 21 years old for a wedding present and I'm just now replacing them at 36 years old (Still Married). Not saying everyone will get this much life out of a pan, nor should they for safety purposes. But Farberware had everything I need to replace my old stuff again and they have the safe chemical-free rating as the 200 dollar pans. So I thought well ill give them another shot and obviously I won't wait 15 years again but they work just fine. Don't use metal on the non-stick surfaces and they should last you a long time.

S: This set of farberware is great for 3 reasons; the price is unbeatable in the stores where I shop at locally, the handle is strong and sturdy (my last one was weak), and best of all, I can cook things like grilled cheese, eggs, and pancakes without having to butter or grease the pan...The seller Meyer have pleased me very much with this product. It also cleans easy with a soft sponge because nothing sticks to it (so far).

S. Warfield: This is a very nice set of Farberware nonstick pans. The ones I have been using are scratched and I remember in my college chemistry class my professor saying that he wouldn't let his wife use a scratched Teflon pan because of the danger of what the damaged Teflon gives off when heated. These pans are very easy to clean and I use a rubber spatula with them. They are 8", 10" and 11". The handles are stainless steel and do not get hot. I chose the red ones to brighten up the kitchen a bit and they are cheerful and pretty. I cooked some scrambled eggs in the smallest one and some of the egg stuck to the pan. I rinsed it under warm water and the egg slid right off the pan, so no scrubbing was needed.

I'm very pleased with this purchase.

LHILL: I like these pans more than I thought I would. They are lightweight, easy to clean and I love the red color! I have had the same set of pans since I got married 10 years ago and the Teflon coating was badly scratched. I should have replace them a long time ago because I have heard that isn't safe. I actually got these as an in-between set until I can afford a good set of stainless steel pans. These were a great price for that purpose! I do not like that they are made of aluminum since that isn't great for your body either but I figure well coated aluminum pans was better than the scratched Teflon that I had. Also, they are too shallow and I frequently knock food out when I cook. Overall, these were a good buy considering the $14 price. Don't buy these if you are expecting a great set of pans, but if you're in a pinch and need a decent set, these would fit the bill. :)
