Fabric Markers with Vibrant, Permanent Colors in Dual-Tip Design

Nancy BNancy B: I wanted to remake a silk jersey quilt that my daughter used as a baby/toddler for my granddaughter. I really am not much of a quilter but I wanted to decorate the quilt with something. I decided I would try stenciling. My granddaughter's room is decorated with a seaside mermaid theme. I wanted to stencil the little quilt with ocean creatures to match. I bought these dye pens and with some trepidation, I started the project. Once I got the hang of it I found that it was easy and fun to do.
To set the dye you are supposed to apply heat. I used a blow dryer for the immediate dye setting and then put the quilt in the dryer as instructed.
As with anything, I read the instructions.

Aubrey C.: Pretty good overall quality.
Haven't run the clothing items through the wash yet that I've used these on, so we'll see how it holds up when I do.
Only giving 4 stars because the Mint Green actually comes out on a white tshirt as more of DARK FOREST GREEN- NOT the lighter/minty green that the marker depicts. And also cause of how well the markers absorb into the fabric varies ever so slightly in quality depending upon the color you're using.
The yellow and pink markers in my pack seem to write/color in better than the red and the grey markers (not a big deal at all by any means, but something I definitely noticed)
However overall I'm satisfied and would purchase again.

A. DowsonA. Dowson: I really like these markers for the most part. I liked that they aren't bright primary colors. I am trying to find the easiest way to add facial features to these tiny pugs and hoped the markers would be the answer. Truth is that though they are very easy to use and they work great, it takes a few days for the ink to dry. I know there are methods to get it to dry quicker, but when it comes to a crocheted toy, you don't want to be throwing it in the dryer. I haven't given up on them yet, but think they would be better used on a t shirt or tote bag. They DO work great though and for the price, it's not a dangerous gamble. Go for it if you need fabric markers!

Amazon Customer: I bought these to use on canvas shoes. Unfortunately the colour doesn't show to well and it's dull. Sometimes the colours bleed as well. All in all kind of disappointing for the price

I had to stay on a tight budget when shopping for supplies to draw designs my kids' backpacks this year. So after reading a ton of different product reviews I gave these fabric markers a chance, both because of the low price and the dual tips.

I was so happy to find out that they are REALLY nice! The fine end is sharp and small and I love the angled tip on the wide end for filling in larger spaces (would also work great for calligraphy!)

Both ends are well saturated with ink and the colors are vibrant, proven when I was coloring bright and light colors over lime green fabric! The caps click very securely (my 6 year old couldn't take it off) so I don't expect these will dry out.

I will absolutely be buying more of these markers so I have more colors. I'm also going to check out this company's other products!

I'll try to remember to post a pic of the finished backpacks ;)

N. Douglass: What I love about these is that the markers don't slip out of my hand when I'm using them. Due to their shape and feel they are easy to hold. Sometimes my hands are wet when I'm working on a project and other markers can slip around at that critical moment when I'm pressing them down onto fabric. No such issues with these. Good grips. Also, the color for each marker is shown both at the top and bottom of the marker. That makes it easy to find the color I want to use fast. I use these for marking clothing as well as for creative projects. Recently I created a cool cloth ornament and am happy with how the colors came out. As suggested the first time I used each I gave them a good couple of shakes first. The seller suggested storing them horizontally and that seems to be working well. There's enough color variety to let me get creative. These would be a great gift item as the price is right and the quality is excellent.
