Dr. Simona L. Brickers: The media could not be loaded.  The title of this review s speaks volumes to the gifts I’ve received why reading this book. For many years, at least four to five decades, I have yearned to learn more and did not know where to start. The socialized fear around this topic e.g., Voodoo, Vooduo, Orishas) was compelling BUT it never discouraged me learning along the way. What Lilith Dorsey did was bring it all together to make sense.

Her writing and the way she frames each orisha, cultivates a presence that can deeply felt. I knew that I was on the right path and with the right resource for me.

MissK: WOW !! This book is a great book (TO ME). I have been on a spiritual journey for the past 3 years and it hasn't been an easy ride. Never had I ever heard of The Orishas until my grandmother died 2 months ago (WHICH HAS TURNED MY WHOLE WORLD AROUND DRASTICALLY, I believe that she sent them). I am just starting this new journey with The Orishas. I don't know which one has my head, I would love to know. I think I will just continue what I have been doing reading and getting more information on them. I do know this one thing, THEY ARE TRULY REAL !! They are DEFINITELY PROTECTORS!!! If you are truly on a spiritual journey grammatical errors won't even phase you.

I have heard so many stories off the internet about The Orishas and they have all been different. The internet is the WORST place to find information. This book truly goes into details, I have gotten chills over and over again reading this book. I am definitely glad that I purchased it.
