Brianna: Well written, good cadence, easy to read. Hard to dispel factual, logical conclusions which would also explain why an incongruous controversial modern day group claiming this biblical identity are so overly sensitive and gung ho when people look at them closely and question their alleged authenticity. Highly recommended.

RLM: This is not a good book. I bought it hoping to learn more about this topic, but I found this book mostly filled with non-biblical references narrowly selected to bolster the author’s claims. The Bible passages referenced are poorly interpreted and most deciphered with an inconsistent hermeneutic, flip flopping between theologically liberal and conservative grids. Many passages seem to be fueled simply by hatred (see author’s quotes below). On every page I made notes such as “What?”, “That makes no sense”, “There is no supporting evidence for this”, and others. In summary the author states that only blacks today are the true descendants of Abraham and that any white first century Jews, or Ancient European Jews, modern white European Jews and white Jews living in Israel today are merely impostors – none being true ethnic or ancestral Jews descended from Abraham. This leads the author to make the shocking claim that only blacks are truly made in the image of God (pg. 35). This is a sad, erroneous book I do not recommend.
A few examples of the author’s flawed Biblical and non-Biblical “evidence” are discussed below along with several author quotations...

Steven H Propp: Author Dr. Theron D. Williams wrote in the Introduction to this 2018 book, “Too often this subject is approached as if Black presence in the Bible is a rarity rather than the standard. The assumption is that Black people in the Bible are such a minority that their roles in salvation history are nominal at best… One of the purposes of this book is to guide the reader through the Sacred Text to show how it, in corroboration with other historical documents and DNA, affirms that the people of the Bible---from Adam to the apostle Paul---were people of color; namely, Black people… I found this project to be very simple yet extremely complicated. It is simple in that the biblical story begins in Africa, making the biblical Hebrews immediate descendants pf Africans. Also, the number of times that Ethiopia, Egypt, and Israel are mentioned in the Bible suggests that the African landmass is referenced more than any other geographical region in biblical times. Prior to the 1859 creation of the Suez Canal, which included the removal of the strip of land that physically connected the so-called ‘Middle East’ to Egypt… Israel was very much a part of Northern Africa… Europeans were...
