Elizabeth B.: This is a quality book chock full of wine data and trivia. I have given two of these as gifts. The book is nearly large enough to qualify as "coffee table." I would leave it available for anyone to browse. The look and feel of it is lovely.

James A. Turner: This is an amazing book. It's well-researched and, more importantly, extraordinarily well-designed with easty-to-read graphics, charts, and infographics. Madeline Puckette and her team know how to make learning both entertaining and fun. I can't say enough good things about this book (and their newsletter). Really, really great stuff. Bravo!

JC in CO: I was curious to see if this would actually be better than the original. It is. That one was part of my wine class in culinary school. They should have used this more expanded book. This book has a section on how wine is made, much better explanations of wine labels and wine regions. If you want only casual knowledge the original book will be fine for you but if you really want to study - this is the one. I have two other much more in depth wine books - but they overwhelm me. My learning style is visual and these graphics really help me retain the information.
