Explore the Star Trek Universe with the Starfleet Reference Library Maps from Stellar Cartography

Mike Bormann: An sich ist diese Kartensammlung einfach genial. Hier nur in Englisch. Ich selber hatte vor kurzen Glück, eine deutsche Ausgabe über Ebay zu bekommen.
Wenn es um die Karten geht, kann man sich auch so damit beschäftigen. Bei dem beigefügten Buch wird es dann schon schwierig, außer man ist dem Englischen mächtig.

Das Produktionsdatum ist 2013 oder 2014.
EINE NEUAUFLAGE, mit aktuellen Informationen, auch aus neuen Serien, WÄRE NICHT SCHLECHT. DIES IST AUS MEINER SICHT SOGAR EIN MUSS!!!!!!
Man hat schon die Lage der Vanguard Station (aus der gleichnamigen Buchreihe, welche es auch in Deutsch gibt) eingezeichnet.
Auch ist die Delphische Ausdehnung, die Enterprise NX-01 Route (und weitere Sachen aus der Serie Star Trek Enterprise) auf einer Karte zu sehen.
Andere Sachen (Ereignisse, Stationen, Flugrouten, aus jüngeren Serien, sind nicht vorhanden. Auf Anhieb fällt mir jetzt nichts ein. Ich kenne aber auch (noch) nicht die Ereignisse aus anderen Serien Star Trek The Fall, Star Trek Typhon Pact oder anderen Serien.

Kevin Spooner: Who doesn’t like maps? Not this guy! Honestly, from both an art and a logistical perspective it makes the 24th century of the alpha and beta quadrants relatable, and beautiful to look at. You finally get a sense of scale as to how BIG the galaxy actually is. Also, simply from an packaging/presentation perspective, this book/map set is top notch. A great gift for the Trek fan in your life.

Includes Klingon map versions as well! Qapla’ batlh je!

Karl Haynes: If you have ever wondered what the Federation looked like in comparison to the Klingon and Romulan Empires, then you need this. Using this as I watch some of my favorite episodes from DS9 and TNG helped to put into perspective the importance of key areas in the galaxy for Starfleet, the Cardassians, the Klingons, the Romulans and others. This is truly a work of art!

The Stellar Cartography book provides background on each map and gives an overview of the history of each region. Can’t recommend this enough for any Trek fan!

centrefrenchie: I have gone back and forth on ordering this book for over a year, adding it and removing it from my cart over and over. DH and I are huge Trekkies, so for us this is just as much a fun reference book as it is a collector’s item and conversation piece. I’m SO glad I finally ordered it for DH for Christmas! I don’t understand the negative reviews - both the book and the maps were high quality and heavy as well as the casing, and it looks much more expensive than what I expected for the price! Now we need to order the other related books on the ships, etc. Wish I would’ve ordered this ages ago so we could’ve referenced it during our annual rewatch of TNG/DS9/Voyager/Discovery!

JND: They really are that beautiful. And the amount of maps you get that detail the Star Trek universe is worth its weight in gold. While the Star Maps book is a great resource as well, this book packs those same maps into fold-out masterpieces, including some never-before seen maps of the DS9 and Voyager universes. Coming in a large, sturdy package, which will protect the contents from anything i can imagine, this book IS the reference guide to the future.

jdblue: This arrived quickly and in pristine condition. Were I a collector, I would have been entirely satisfied with the mint condition of this item. CONTENT WARNING: What follows will make a collector wince or potentially feel queasy.

The plastic wrap wasn't so tight that I risked damaging the contents upon opening. The pages are beautiful, with rich, vibrant color. The paper is pleasantly heavy without being obnoxious. The inlcuded poster maps seem to be in mint condition. We'll have to wait a few centuries to know if they're accurate, but they certainly look pretty.

All in all, this guide to the galaxy will enable any Trekker with a desire for interstellar navigation to prosper—and presumably also live long, since you'll know where the Klingons reside...

RockRedGenesis: I remember having once a Star Trek: Star Maps book that had had maps of Federation Space and everything around it, up to date to around the time of Star Trek: Enterprise, and it was a cool book, figuring out how far Deep Space Nine and Bajor were from Earth, what path Enterprise took into the Delphic Expanse to find the Xindi weapon and Voyager's flight path through the Delta Quadrant.

This set of 10 very high quality and large Maps, and a reference book take the concept of the Star Maps book and take it into overdrive! The book is about 40 or so pages and is there to help flesh out the large maps with historical information on events going on at the time the maps were published (in universe, of course!). The maps are incredibly detailed and informative. I'm definitely going to pick a couple to frame and hang up on the wall.

Brilliant set, well worth the money. If they eventually do a similar one with Starship blueprints, i'll buy that one as well!
