Me: 2 & 3 year olds at story hour really enjoy this book! It's fun to "read" it as a sing-a-long. Have done this one for almost 20 years as it's a classic for young children.

DirtyPanda: This book is SO much fun! I love reading to my toddler and finding fun new books for her to enjoy! I already love Eric Carle, but to my surprise I missed this book my entire childhood! The song is so much fun and I actually enjoy it just as much as my daughter! This is a great book to add to your collection for your kids at home or kids in your classroom!

Client d'Amazon: Les bijoux littéraires d'Éric Carle. Encore un album de jeunesse pour ceux et celles qui apprennent à parler anglais. C'est l'occasion de rebrasser le lexique des jours, de la nourriture et d'associer les deux. Les enfants adorent !

Jefftimus Prime: Such a fun Eric Carle book - there’s a good YouTube animated video with a song to read it with. I’ve read it (I’m a teacher) with toddlers and preschoolers and they all love it.

R. Flaherty: I use this book in my toddler/parent music classes. If you simply read the book from the first page to the last, you will probably have an experience like the other reviewers who claimed that it's bland and boring. You MUST GO TO THE VERY BACK PAGE FIRST and look at the song printed there. This book is meant to be sung, not read. When you sing the song, the book comes alive, and children and adults both love it. To make it even better, add a gesture/sound effect for each food. For instance, when you sing about "Saturday, Chicken," pause and make chicken bawking noises and flap your arms like a chicken. The folks who had a negative experience with this book aren't using it the way it was intended.
