Leigh E.: Took the first part of the book to set the scene but worth it. Characters were great. Very real problems that were taken care of in a real life way. Good conclusion. Still want more!

Foxxy: I enjoyed this book and the Tour series. I always wanted to visit Ireland and especially see Inniskilling from which my Great grandfather emigrated in the 1800s.
Reading the books is like being there. which I will never be able to do, since I am 91 and unable to travel.

Amazon Customer: I have been reading this series over the past few days and I am hooked. I can’t put the story down and even though I have shed tears on quite a few occasions these books have kept me reading most of the night.
My favourite is this story and I do enjoy the fact that even though they are a series they can be read on their own without too much rehashing of the previous stories. Well done, Jean, keep up the good work.

CH new kindle owner: I have read all of the books in this series and have enjoyed them all, this is no exception. The move from tour bus based to hotel based had worked well in my opinion, especially as it still offers the opportunity for new characters while allowing for a more detailed look at one person's, or in this case one family's, story. I
There are some convenient coincidences and outcomes but as usual the narrative is so good they don't detract.
I have always thought these books could be enjoyed as stand alone stories however I believe there is so much to be gained from reading the series and seeing the characters develop in the lovely way they are described.
I would recommend this book to anyone who liked an easy, comfortable story that relies on its characters and setting rather than in sensational events.

Rebecca L. Ratchenski: I’ve been reading the whole series and this book #5, did not disappoint. I’m also enjoying the historical parts of the book along with the story lines. I’ve read a lot of Jean Grainger and they’ve all been very enjoyable.
