Nice hammock overall. The rope slings that are provided are garbage, so plan on getting some whoopie slings when you get this. I'm a pretty big guy and I fit into this nice and comfortable.
Pros - pretty lightweight, integrated bug net, large, comfortable, packs up small
Cons - can't keep the bug net spread out enough, needs tiebacks, rope needs to be replaced asap, doesn't come with a rain fly

B. A. Murphy:
My review is merely a comparison between the Hammock Bliss model and the Hennessy Explorer Deluxe [...]. Camping hammocks, as a rule, are a great idea. Like any new hobby item, I recommend finding something with at least 4 stars from hundreds of reviews before I will buy something. As such, my review will broadly touch on a few particulars of this product, but focus more on the pro's and con's of this model over the Hennessy.
+Pros
+Integrated carry-bag. Hennessy has an external bag you have to keep up with, and I could rarely fit everything in it. Not a problem here.
+Bug net suspension separate from hammock suspension. The guyline on the Hennessy was attached to the suspension cordage, the Hammock Bliss model has two guylines kept in pockets on each end. Some will prefer the no-hands approach of Hennessy's setup, I prefer not wondering what would happen if that guyline snapped.
+Replaceable suspension. The Hennessy had one piece of climbing rope on each end. While the reach was longer on the Hennessy's suspension, the Hammock Bliss model features more of a tunnel in the fabric to allow for a length of rope to pass through and you are left with...

Tony B:
I've owned a few hammocks, and have taken them camping regularly for a few years. They're great for backpacking or camping out on a long motorcycle ride. This is my favorite, and the best hammock I've owned.
The hammock is strong, light, and comfortable. The net is quality, and was a lot stronger than I expected. The hammock is large enough to be comfortable and spacious, yet small enough to be packed efficiently. The lines to string up the net held very well on my last camping trip, and the hammock performed wonderfully, in combination with a tarp, when we were hit with a thunderstorm last weekend. I slept right through it. My buddy has an REI hammock setup, easily worth over $400, and fared worse than I did. He was, needless to say, impressed and angry.
I like the pockets inside of the net, perfect for keeping a light handy without unzipping the net.
Setting it up, you'll have a few considerations:
1. Grab a length of quality to rope to help give you some flexibility as to where you can set up. The lines it comes with are pretty short.
2. Grab a set of "Night Eyes" figure 9 caribeaners, it makes the set-up, and more importantly, the...
