Dizzy!: So, the title of this page and the description both claim "1080p" video, but then in the small print it says it only does 720p. There are other inconsistencies involving the battery's mAh and whether or not it comes with batteries, as well. It really says to me that the product wasn't given any care - it obviously didn't even have time to have its printed materials inspected, so I doubt anyone bothered to check the actual product for flaws.

I wish I could talk about the practical use of it, but it literally wouldn't even turn on. I charged it all day long (they recommend a 12-hour charge) and it won't power on at all. The chime works, I plugged THAT in and it's fine, but the actual video doorbell unit just doesn't work at all. No light, no noises or signs of life at all, just nothing. I checked the batteries, they're facing the right way and there's nothing blocking them. Just a totally nonfunctional doorbell fresh out the box.

---What I like---
-Set up: I found the ring a little complicated to set up with the /create an account/ and connecting it to the ringer and the lights that needed to match. This was super easy. It connected right away and I did not have to create any accounts, simple name the doorbell and a password. The instructions were easy to follow along. Pic and text were helpful to match each step and the app was easy to find. I had a hard time with the QR code but typing the name and it was the first result.
-The app: pretty self explanatory. The buttons are clear and worked. They might of upgraded the app because I had not problem with it. The images and video I took were taken to the file and set up like google photos. Also I can finally share my videos with my family. There is a share option for your messaging app and also a sharing function for someone else to have all the same functions as me. They would have to upload the app and you just share the QR code. My husband used his I-phone and I used my android and it worked fine. You can also adjust setting for the app and the camera/ringer from the app...

Jeff Cooper: After trying to connect it to my cell 10 plus times I finally got it to work and after connecting, the function is still iffy at best. For those who give it a 5 star rating, I am jealous! For me, I am still wondering if I should return it or keep stressing over it. Having a degree in CIS I am fairly sure I know what I am doing but the number registered with Amazon is not the number for the company and that is an alarm for me. We get what we pay for I suppose....

fisher: I bought this to replace my old doorbell and I absolutely love it! It has a sleek and modern look, is very easy to install and work as described. The audio and video quality are superb and the app is easy to use as well. I have been using the doorbell for a week now without any problem and I do hope the batteries will last for at least 6 months as advertised. When I was searching for a wireless doorbell, I considered purchasing a pricier one but I am glad I didn’t. This is a really nice product for its moderate price!
