A. Hummel: Good fit. It’s offset enough that it doesn’t block the second outlet on twin sockets. Good quality connectors, decent charging via USB, and keeps a good grip both in the outlet, and for the devices plugged into it. I have two now, but may add more to the collection before I travel again. Bear in mind that this does not convert voltage at the main plug, so don’t go getting optimistic with a US 120 volt hair dryer or flat iron or razor or what have you. The USB is the same everywhere, and this unit handles that well, however.

CaptainAwesome: I used this on a trip to Italy in September and October. I loved that it had usb ports so I could just bring the cords and charge both my iphone and kindle at once. I did use the plug in part a few times for a travel curling iron and it worked well. I was worried that I would need a voltage converter instead of this, but I did not. It is nice and small, so it was easy to pack and charged my devices just as quickly as they charge at home.

Amazon Customer: Went to Italy a few years back and brought an adapter (I'm American) for my phone charger, back up battery, and flat iron. It was a single plug adapter and got very hot when I tried to charge my phone which really freaked me out. It was also very difficult to plug things into. Took a lot of force.

This past July I had another European trip, this time visiting France, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain. I wanted a new adapter and came across this one in my search. The reviews seemed good enough so I gave it a try. It worked beautifully, didn't get hot while in use, and was easy to plug things into. Having two usb ports meant I could charge both my phone and my back up battery at the same time, which was very convenient for me. And the plug worked nicely for my flat iron.

I will say it was a bit bulky to pack but that's understandable given what it's designed to do so I didn't really mind.

Thankfully, I read some reviews that warned me about the very bright blue light that goes on when the adapter is plugged in. I was able to put a light blocking black sticker over it that made it a non issue. My friend (who I was traveling with) had an adapter with a light as well...

Ellie: As an American living in Spain for the year, this thing has been a lifesaver. I live in an older building that doesn't have many outlets, and can charge my phone, portable charger, and laptop off of this. I have some of the smaller, flimsier adapters for on the go (while this is lightweight, it's an awkward shape--like any multi-plug adapter--and a small adapter and USB block take up less space), but I've been really happy with this, and it's holding up to daily use.
