Emily RR: The media could not be loaded.  We chose this dinner set because we wanted something timeless and classic on our wedding registry, but we didn’t want plain white! We’ve since bought another set to expand our collection as our family grows. The plates themselves offer a handmade feel and a thickness that gives you confidence they aren’t going to break after a year. They’re dishwasher and microwave safe (the entire set is!). I wish they offered deeper bowls for cereal/soup. The included bowls are better suited for pasta. The coffee cups are pleasantly a larger size - I’ve had dinner sets that give you dinky little cups. These became my go to coffee cups for a good while! Overall we love this brand and this set. Looking forward to purchasing accompanying items.

K L Barnes-O'Connor: These dishes are beautiful. They are heavy stoneware with natural edges. The colors and patterns are very eyecatching.

Zazzy: I've had these plates since the end of Jan. We don't use them every day because they are quite heavy. We use a melamine set for our day to day needs. In about Apr, one of the smaller plates got a solid crack down the middle. At this point I am keeping aside from the other plates and only for light stuff and no microwaving, but I am expecting it to break in half any day now. I'm bummed because they are cute plates and I love the design. Too late to return. Anyway, this long review, just to say that I don't believe these plates are very durable. I've owned cheaper sets that lasted years and eventually ended at Goodwill because I wanted a change.

M NICOLSON: These dishes are very heavy and thick. I mistakenly thought they were from Italy, they are in fact from China. I returned three 16 piece sets.
