Jennifer H: This was on sale and was cheaper than some of the other options. It gives a reasonably accurate weight reading. The accuracy of all the other metrics provided on the app are a bit questionable and will probably never be used now that the novelty has worn off. So, buy it if you want a cheap scale that gives the weight. Don't buy it if you're super concerned about the other metrics...there are more accurate ways of measuring.

Amy W: Very accurate to the tenth of a pound- helps you feel better when you’re in the slow lose cycle. App is awesome- shows weight, BMI and body fat percentage. Your history saves for a year. You can also delete entries if needed. Also my hubby got on it and my phone was close by so it picked up his weight reading. The app was able to tell from the weight difference that it wasn’t mine and asked me if it should be discarded. App also has weight goal and trend graphs. Helps to see if your weight fluctuates in cycles. You can have multiple people download the app and run simultaneously. Just make sure only your phone is near the scale when you’re weighing so no one else sees your secret number in their app. 😅

ManXQ840: I love this scale and the way it's designed. There is no display on it, which forces you to use an app on your phone to view your results. I'm blind, so this is much better for me. I can use VoiceOver on my iPhone to interact with my measurements and never have to ask somebody to read me my weight ever again.
It's pretty cool. You turn it on, it pairs with your phone, you step on, it measures you, you step off, and it shuts itself down. Boom. Easiest thing in the world. It even sticks those numbers right into the health app of your provider of choice.
It has had a few fails in my time using it. It weighed me at 159 last week but then it jumped down to 151 for some reason. But the thing knows when it messes up... it'll ask you if you want to keep such a large difference in data or delete it and try again.
You should use this with no shoes, because it'll make it a lot easier for the four pads on the scale to measure things like body fat and the other metrics. Overall, I'd recommend this to anybody,.

Paul Gee: The GOOD - The scales themselves look well made and substantial. The weight readings are consistent at at one session (ie little or no fluctuation.
The BAD - The app looks nice and is simple - perhaps TOO simple for anyone wanting to delve into the data, compare it in detail over a period of time or export it to another program or for backup purposes (not possible). Why can you see only FOUR of the metrics in graph form? Why is there no way to backup the data or export the data in .csv or .txt (so you can use in another program or a spreadsheet)? It IS possible to link the app to Google Fit (also Fitbit - not tested) but the app only exports YOUR WEIGHT to Google - and nothing else. Not much use if you are interested in tracking body composition.
My body fat (19%) is 5% higher than my other scales and I wondered if the BODY COMPOSITION analysis might be part-estimated according to your age. To test my hypothesis, I created 3 different profiles for myself (at age 45, 55 and 65 - my real age). When I weigh myself once as each "user" app gives my Body Fat at 16.8%, 17.7% and 18.5% respectively. In other words the older it thinks I am the higher it reports my Body Fat. The...

Rusty: Was after some scales as I am trying to get in better shape and thought I might as well go for some smart ones given there is only a few pound difference compared to branded basic scales. Following an hour or so of research concluded with these.

First impressions and quality are brilliant! The white model looks sleek and stylish to be left out in the bathroom.

The C1 is the upgraded version which includes the improved sensors compared to the original.

The display on the scales is bright and easy to read, and also invisible when not in use.

The App is what sold these to me. Reputable though not popular brand as of yet (maybe the next DJI) but layout is excellent. GUI is done very well and doesn’t feel like someone just slapped it together and released it to the App Store.

Sync to the scales is easy and an even bigger benefit is you can sync it to Apple health so you can track even more parameters of your health.

In conclusion, unless you want to drop a Benjamin on a set of branded smart scales, these in my opinion are easily second best if not on par with something like the Nokia scales.
