Alex K: First one had no motion detection whatsoever after hours of troubleshooting. Second one worked just fine out of the box but didn't last more than 2 weeks and motion detection stopped working as well. Pure and utter junk.

EatLeadTalibanScum: I have several Eufy products and they all work well with their app. Easy installation on all of them. This product is used. I'll assume refurbished and came packaged pretty much looking new, but was missing the 16GB card. I ordered a second one for my parents and the card was in that one. Great price. The Chime rings along with my phone and the chime I already had on the wall. Made in China.

jayant singh: TL;DR Buy it if it is on sale and you wont use it talk to the person at the door. Just need it to keep a record of who is coming at the door.

Pros:
* stores footage locally
* easy to install
* comes with its own chime
* can work on battery or with hard wire
* can open the app on multiple phones (unlike Arlo)

Cons
* detects passing cars are humans
* wouldn't detect the upc guy at all
* the person at the door cannot hear you clearly.
* wouldn't work with existing chimes

Carl H.: The Eufy Doorbell camera works as you'd expected it to, with good motion detection, clear picture, good night vision. I have no complaints about the camera. However, because of the relatively small size, it can't take a large battery. As a result, the battery needs charged every week or two with regular use! I had seen the other posted complaints about short battery life but brushed them off, thinking they might be due to extreme cold or hot temperatures (which are always hard on a battery) or high-use live streaming (also hard on a battery). However, it's just that a doorbell-sized device can't hold a battery big enough to hold a charge for a long time....If you plan to use this as a battery-operated device, I do NOT recommend it and wouldn't order it again myself, preferring instead to use the Eufy weatherproof cameras whose battery charge last for 5-6 months of regular use. However, it is possible to install the Eufy doorbell cam as a wired option with existing doorbell wiring. If this is an option for you, go for it!

The Director: Picture was crystal clear. Had no problems integrating it with Alexa. Never any lag, even over wifi, or on data when i was away from home. Wasn't fond of the lack of anything between motion detections (like Ring's little pictures that get taken every 15-60 minutes. Even littlelf camera's can do constant recording, though they are wired), but I have other security camera's for that I suppose.

Was nice for the six days I used it before someone ripped it, mounting and all, right off the wall along with one of my Alro's :(

Will probably buy another one, most likely a newer model, once I get some spare fundage together. Picture quality was crisper than Ring, and it was more on point for recording the moment motion happened than most other cams I've had.

Cesar Chan: I got this Eufy Security Video Doorbell 2K HD that really works now. Previously, I got a Eufy Security Video Doorbell with the Homebase. The later video doorbell did not work well since there were tons of misses than hits. It did not capture videos of people passing by my front door where the doorbell video camera was installed. If it did capture videos of people, the video plays people that have already passed by without recognizing their faces. I became frustrated with the Eufy Security Doorbell with the Homebase so I returned the Eufy Doorobell with the Homebase to Amazon. I scouted out for another doorbell video camera but I am unsure about their quality and how good their customer service is. I realize that Eufy security has good customer service rating so I settled for another Eufy security doorbell thinking that the first Eufy video doorbell could just be defective, or not working as it should be. I was able to find the Eufy security video doorbell 2K HD that is a little bit cheaper than the first one.
