H. Kam: I bought this because I hate wearing my tool pouch because of how bulky it feels. I am an electrician by trade so I needed something that could help with speed and yet not get in the way. Also we need to be careful around finished surfaces as to not damage them so a tool pouch can be a bad thing at times. I have to squat and bend a lot because I do quite a bit of finish work (plugs and switches). Bigger aprons tend to bend at your waist making the lower pockets impossible to get into while squatted. This apron solved that problem since it ends at your belt line. It has the right amount of pockets that I need to carry finish materials and essential tools. Only thing is that it gets a little warm since it's covering the whole front of your torso but all aprons are like that. I'm glad I found this and now I have two so I can wash one and still have one ready at work.

Joanne: No more hunting for a tape measure or pencil or driver bits and fasteners. I've had this apron for several months and wear it every day. I do a lot of kitchen cabinet installations and finish carpentry work and this apron has been great. I don't need a tool belt. I'm ordering another. Best $20 I've spent.

Leticia: Resulta muy útil, se puede ajustar a tu cuerpo, el material es resistente y las costuras bien hechas.
Debo decir que me quedo muy bien pero soy una chica petit. A alguien de talla normal le quedará corto

Christine Osborne: Durable, not too hot. Lots of pockets for the coins I need to carry which means less walking back to the office. Amazing.

Viet thang tran: I feel this shop apron is ideal for wood workers, at home carpenters who work in their garages. i would not use this apron professionally as i feel it would not hold up to the more rigorous on the job conditions

MC: I've had this model before, as well as the 'almost the same' Bucket Boss. I think the Dickeys is in the same league (probably all made by the same OEM; pick your option).
For the price, buy it. Nothing else that distributes weight well that's cheaper. Reasonably durable.
The Bucket Boss has slightly different shoulder straps with sliding pads. I went to the Bucket Boss after wearing out my first Arsenal. I didn't really notice the difference, but I don't carry a heavy load.
I bought this one to experiment with sewing the torso up so the pouches are above my waste line. I get frustrated when things fall out due to squatting/kneeling and the pockets are horizontal. I have my old one to experiment with -- this one would be sewn better as the old one is torn/worn. Not a durability statement -- you only wear out something because it's junk or because you use it. I use this one.
I added wrap/velcro magnetic pads to the shoulder straps from Atlas 46. Like the Atlas, wallet hasn't taken me there yet (at some point of experimenting with a shorter torso, that will happen). Also, added a magnet to the inside of the larger upper pocket. Works well for holding...

Randall A. Morter: I've had this apron about a week now and have probably worn it around 40 hours. It's the second apron I've used/worn. I like it a lot and wouldn't change much about it.
I don't carry a lot in an apron but I like having a thick pencil, a .5mm pencil, a 6" combination square, and a small tape measure in the apron. I like the little bit of protection from sawdust. At times I'll also carry other things like screws or nails, additional ruler, rag, etc.
I had been using a cheap (perhaps $4) apron from Lowe's. The Lowe's apron had large pockets at the top and my pencils either fall out or I have to clip them in. The lower pockets kind of flop around instead of holding anything snug or close to my body so they aren't banging into things. It had thin straps that 1) went around my neck and 2) had to be tied behind my back. The material is fairly thin cotton, like worn blue jeans.
I looked at a lot of different aprons and read about other people's experiences with them. I really wanted something that seemed heavier and more durable. I don't know what this apron is made of but it is cerainly heavier.
I wanted something that didn't have the single neck strap but I...

Jenna: Can't beat the price. I've had this apron for almost a year now and wear it at least 40 hrs a week. It's durable, washable and holds everything I need. Because it's adjustable it fits perfect and distributes the weight of everything I carry well and doesn't hurt the shoulders. It protects me and my clothes, I highly recommend.
