kathryn s. volpi: Small compact footprint. Light. Had everything needed for recent trips. loved not having multiple parts that had to be accounted for (switching on/off for different outlets, or too deep outlets).

Worked for deeply recessed outlets. charge time similar (not the same) as home (U.S.).

Nice carry case - just perfect for traveling and bringing one small-regular sized bag.

It's built to allow easy access to the fuse (and the spare fuse that comes with the adapter), and includes a soft case (though the adapter is self contained and sturdy, so likely doesn't need any case). Worked perfectly on my trip where I was charging a laptop and a couple of mobile devices at the same time.

A.Kumar: I brought it from Amazon India for my travel to Europe and it is stupid that you can't use Indian 3 pin plugs on this. Why would you cheat your customers. Now that I'm here in Germany I can't even return it anymore. It costs 3000 Rupees and it is money in the drain as the return window closes now. Would be grateful if atleast I can get my money back and I can return this once I'm back from Germany. It is completely unused.

Vinny: Great piece of mind when traveling. I used it in Italy without issue. For my family, the biggest thing we need electricity for when on the road is to recharge our mobile devices: phones, tablets, watches, and portable power banks. The built in USB ports mean that you don’t have to carry all those charging bricks, just your cables. It’s not a power converter, per se, but it’s safe because USB ports already have to be converted into DC in the correct voltage range by design because USB is an international computing standard. And the Epicka tech support was responsive when I emailed them a question confirming that.

I found this product after reading a review in Wirecutter magazine. The feel of the adapter is very solid overall, very well made. Fit snugly into the Italian wall sockets. I bought it in white, looks slick. The carrying case is nice for packing without it getting beat up in your luggage. It comes with replacement fuses, just in case (but I didn’t wind up needing one).
