MC: The product is well made,sturdy frame and durable cover. It was easy to assemble and my cats instantly began using it. In my opinion it needs some sort of door cover to keep the wind out,and the vent flaps on top need something to hold them down(I used velcro) with just the few minor flaws it's worth the purchase and would recommend it.

Barbara HBarbara H: Much better than expected. Guess I had not paid attention to the specs. I was expecting the frame to be made of PVC or cheap metal that bends easily but instead it was a heavy metal frame that was easy to assemble. The material is heavier than that of a good grill cover and looks like it will hold up very well. As you can see the cats could not wait to get in to explore. This is a small and as you can see, still quite roomy. This is a 15# cat.The 2nd pic is a small 8 # kitten. The third shows its size in the outdoors. I am VERY PLEASED with this purchase. I am sure it will keep them warm in the winter when they insist on going out... The only negative thing I can say is the assembly instruction book was very small print and hard to read (had to hold it in the right angle in the light since I could not find my magnifying glass) but the pictures were pretty self explanatory. Would definitely purchase again if needed or for someone else with pets.

bkv64: I ordered two of these size small houses, and my 40 pound Aussie and 55 pound Blue Heeler have plenty of room in them. So pay attention to the dimensions! I don’t keep the houses outside, so I cannot say how well they’d hold up out there. I keep them in the dogs’ room (enclosed porch) and they are perfect for that. My dogs like an enclosed sleep space, so that’s why I have houses inside and not just beds. The dogs have been using these for about a month, and the only issue I’ve had with them is the Velcro keeps coming undone. I suggest the company use a stronger strength velcro or a different means of fastening the sides onto the bed altogether. On several occasions I’ve seen my Aussie’s paws hanging out the side of the house as he sleeps from where the velcro has come undone. I usually end up refastening the velcro daily. These were a challenge to put together by myself. It helps if you have someone to help you.

Lynn MarieLynn Marie: They can be moved easily - had a wind storm here and it never moved.They are much larger than I expected.I bought a medium for my 20 pounder..not needed ..and a small for my 10 pound dog.Both would have done fine in a small..For any dog terrier size you only need a small.The air flaps at the top are great and keep it cool inside.The material is sturdy weather resistant & attractive.FYI you will need someone to help you out putting it together.It's easy to do but you need some one to help hold one end while you fix the other or it keeps coming apart.The real problem is that .The ground flap do not like up to the Velcro so I added my ownnot everything lines up..on one of them the side bars are not in because it just could not be lined up where the screw would thread in.Main thing? My dogs love them.

DeannaDeanna: My dogs are spoiled. They are 15 and 25 pounds, 13 years and 4 years old. They go in and out at leisure through a dog door and are are not asked to stay out much. Once a day or so, weather and whining permitting, we do keep them locked out for an hour or two so we can clean in peace and ensure they get fresh air. I got this pet house so on those occasions they would have shelter, if they wanted it, and so maybe they wouldn't just stare at me through the slider and make me feel guilty. They actually love it... so does my grandson, he hangs out with them in there sometimes (he likes being outdoors much more than they do, but of course we never lock him out :-) ). It's quite sturdy. I love that it's off the ground but still low to the ground. The material is good - strong and thick - and it's well ventilated. It has been outside for a couple of months and it looks new except for some dust settling. I live in a coastal community and its been through several days of light rain. It seems to wick the rain well and dry off quickly. It's easy for my small, older dog to get into. It took my husband and I about 45 minutes to put it up, with only one argument. Enjoy.
