SeashellstewSeashellstew: If you have vaulted / angled ceilings read...I had been researching this fan for a while but didn’t read anywhere that angled ceilings were an issue. I wanted a fan that not everyone had. Once the electrician was there to install it, the directions inside says the ceiling can’t exceed 25 degrees. My ceilings are more than a 25 degree angle so I was crushed that I may have to return it! I rushed off to Lowe’s to find a solution. Lowe’s told me they had an “angle adaptor” but it was a Harbor Breeze brand and the fan would have to be that same brand. They suggested that I just buy a Harbor Breeze fan since the electrician was waiting for me. I called the Craftmaid tech department but they were no help! They said an adaptor was available but I would have to locate a dealer to buy it. They also didn’t know if the Harbor Breeze brand would work and of course steered me back to ordering theirs. I took a chance and bought the 45-degree Harbor Breeze Angle Adaptor for $9.98 and it worked! The fan works great and took the electrician about an hour to assemble and install after I got the part. I didn’t need a longer down rod which was good. The fan is super quiet and looks...
